Unless you push the boundaries, challenge convention, or ride roughshod over the old dogma, you don't get innovation. Some will be more successful, will allow investment or will make a product more accessible to a wider by keeping costs down, others won't, but unless you try you will never know...

Nope, I'm the same, also hate having g to check the App five times a day to make sure the VIN and reg hasn't disappeared and delivery date hasn't changed....

Is the lack of stalks only an issue for Tesla drivers??? BMW and Audi drivers never indicate so lack of stalks wouldn't be an issue....

I don't think the 9th digit has any significance but you can check the meaning of each digit/letter here: Tesla VIN decoder.

This sounds like an amazingly frustrating experience. Sorry you had to suffer this. Unfortunately I don't have the choice to make changes at this point, I hope the wrinkles have been ironed out by the time my order comes through

Yes, mine just showed up in the App after about 4 weeks post order, but almost immediately after the lease company actually place the order with Tesla. I think it took NHS fleet about 2 weeks post approval from my organisation to actually place order with Tesla

My VIN still missing and delivery date changed to 12 Jan to 13 Feb. This is for a model 3 ordered 15 Nov.

My VIN and reg has now dissapeard but delivery date remains the same.

I ordered at the beginning of November with NHS fleet but app shows 15 November actual order date with the same estimated delivery of 8 Jan to 25 Feb
