    Supercharger - Columbus GA

Drove by today. Chargers look to be in place with new asphalt in front. Should be ready to be fired up soon. Makes the ATL to 30A much easier. Too bad for folks in Dufuniak and Auburn as many will no longer have to travel via that route.

7.1 Perpendicular Parking Video and Comments

Tried in a diag parking lot but the 'P' would never come up. Works in a perp parking space however.

Consider the differences in 7.1 and 7.0 when deciding whether to update

I updated to 7.1 over the weekend on my late 2014 S85. I am getting about the same amount of "nag" as I used to nothing really too bad. The accuracy however of AutoSteer is much better than before. Nothing scientific here, but seems the "nag" is proportional to the road conditions and the...

Autopilot 7.0: When to be most on your toes?

Interesting comments about auto steer having problems transitioning from solid to dashed lines. In Atlanta, driving down I85 from Duluth to the city, the major highway has such a set up as you move thru a set of HOV/Toll lanes. I took this route to the airport Monday morning (daylight) and TACC...

Does 240v NEMA 14-50 have to cost this much?

Agree with the other comments. Get multiple quotes. I simply asked for a 40A plug in my garage. In metro Atlanta I paid $550 all in. But down on the gulf coast of FL I paid about $275. Difference was time of year (everyone is hungrier for the business in the winter in FL) and the fact that in...

Autopilot and v7 coming this Thursday! (15-10-15)

Out of town this week in California. Let's hope the software is waiting for install when I get back Friday. Will make for a great reason for a short road trip over the weekend. Now we just need more superchargers in the SE as we still have too many holes to make road trips realistic. Congrats to...

    Driver engagement while in Autopilot?

Agreed. You have to keep one eye on the road. I use TACC on the highway every week driving to the busiest airport in the US (ATL). TACC down I-85 makes the drive less stressful and allow by right foot to have less strain, but you have to pay attention to your environment. The DOT electronic...

Charging interrupted, restarts after update to 6.2 (v2.5.21)

Traveling out of state and my ModelS started doing this yesterday while charging at the airport. Am charging off 110V. Went into the Remote S app and stopped charging. Left it alone for about an hour and started again. Seems to have stabilized. Not sure how to check my firmware remotely, but...

    Advice Appreciated Re: NEMA 14:50

Personal experience - installed a 14-50 in my garage in Atlanta - about 40' from breaker box, no finished basement so minimal detail work. Total was $550. Installed an external box in Florida on panhandle, 30' run under the house, moved a few breakers - $250. Moral of the story - shop around.

Remote S: Tesla app for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Allen: Welcome back and good to see you are making progress post surgery. Had a feature request for you as I begin to use the app (on iPhone) more and more. Would be great to have the app allow me to select the user profile before I get in the car. Makes it easier for me to get back in after my...

Remote S: Tesla app for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Allen - first of all, speedy recovery from your surgery. I purchased your app and it was one of the reasons for my impulse buy of an AppleWatch. As someone who travels a lot, I like the ability to set the temp to cool down as I have landed at ATL and the car comfortable by the time I am in it. I...

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Happened to be at the Decatur, GA location today having the tires rotated on my MS. Spoke to a delivery specialist who told me he had 100+ deliveries to do this month from this location! I did a quick head count and there are over 30 cars sitting in the lot right now. Lost of 70D's... Looks like...

    Firmware 6.1

Got the update this weekend. Overall I like it as this is my first update since taking delivery of my S85. I just love the fact that my car is now capable of more than it was last week. Few feedback comments however - not sure if TM reads this or if there is another way to get it to them... 1)...

    Model S Software/Firmware wishlist

After having my S85 now for about a month, here are some of my top listed asks that are not in 6.1 (although I have yet to receive 6.1)... - Auto Raise and Lower the steering column/wheel when car is placed in Park and then when you start the car - TouchID for iOS users to login to Tesla App...

    VisibleTesla

Just downloaded 0.28.01 on a Mac running OS X 10.10.1 and failed to connect to anything. Said my username was incorrect but this is the same I use on my iOS app. I had never been able to connect to my MS with VisibleTesla - assume I will wait for the next rev due out soon.
