That is not true. You will have to pay back later when you do your taxes for 2024 if your tax liability is less than 7500. If you are above the income limit in 2023 then there is no upfront payment whatsoever in 2024 at the point of sale.

Its not the taxable pay but the Adjusted Gross income. Is your AGI < 150K for individual or 300K for married? Also did you pay more than 7500 in federal taxes last year? If the answer is Yes, you should get the full 7500. Tax expert cannot help here. Turbotax is usually correct.

Did you hit the deer? If not then driving into a ditch is your fault and your insurance cost will go up. I am not sure if you can use the deer as an excuse for driving into a ditch unless you have some dash cam footage to prove that. You would have been better off hitting that deer.

It depends on the weather I think. It was in the 20s and when I navigated to SC, the energy app showed, 5.8% for preconditioning and 9% for driving. When I checked again this week when it was in the 60s, preconditioning was around 2%

He is in Canada. Canada has always had LFP batteries regardless of the the model year.

2023 MY RWD is definitely 70 kWh. I precisely calculated that my battery charges 17% with 12 kWh so 100% would be approx 70 kWh.

That's what it looks like plus the downgraded audio system. 2023 Dec built MY RWD got the best bargain.

Range is everything in an EV. No one buys a Taycan to drive at 60 MPH and get an improved range. For that price range it should have at least 300 miles of range for it to have a chance unless you are buying it to park it in your drive way to flaunt.
