Has anyone seen a solution for a UMC cable stand? Currently when the car is unplugged the cable sits on the floor and home gym. I am looking for a standalone (not wall mounted) cable holder I can have next to my power point, ideally not taking up much floor space. Was even looking at garden hose...

Yep, using the UMC. No smoke or smell, power point was slightly warm with the UMC warmer again. I lowered the current for the rest of the charge. Have to put some km's on the car before the next charge!

Plugged the new model 3 in at home last night for the first time... Was prompted for a software update immediately. Also started charging overnight and was rudely awaken at 4am from the smoke alarm in the next room, no smoke or weird smells. Coincidence?

I was told for my MotorOne Hydro G9 that the car should be as clean as possible... Hopefully they do a decontamination beforehand, but I can't find exactly what's done anywhere. Trust the process I guess? I also haven't seen anything about needing yearly inspections? Not sure if this is a thing...

NRMA and Allianz ended up with the cheapest quotes for me for the highland, with both under $2k for a 35 year old male on the sunshine coast. This included windscreen replacement and hire car options with ~$1k excess. Rollin' insurance was not far off that. Youi was around $2.5k and Buget...

I've noticed Allianz now require them to call for a highland, instead of an online quote for every other year. Previously they were the cheapest by far.

Have you (or others) used the MotorOne paint protection package before? MotorOne seem to have some highly mixed reviews, and looks like they outsource their paint protection and tinting. I'm tossing up whether to use them as part of the NL or sort out my own, albeit post tax.
