What dealers? There aren't very many fo them, from my brief experience. I mostly bought my new model 3 online. Finished off the deal on my cell the next day at the dealer. Waited a few minutes for the car to get prepped. I got more on my trade than expected. The price was right.

Seat belt extenders are available on Amazon. The Zarini ($15.99 for a pair) works on my Tesla 3 front seats. Makes it a lot easier to buckle up. There is very little room between the front seats and the center console. Difficult to do without extenders, especially with seat covers.
