    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

Unplugged Performance just confirmed that they do not sell just the rear bar. Only a set.

    Front camber adjustment

For those who adjusted the front camber/caster from the upper FUCA bolts, how did you guys do it? https://service.tesla.com/docs/ModelY/ServiceManual/en-us/GUID-13BE03F3-57D9-41B2-817E-C17E7545DE3A.html I loosened them and tried to move them while the wheels were on the ground, no movement.

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

I am not a track guy. In my previous FWD car, I switched to the skinniest possible front bar and a thick rear bar - it drove amazingly for many years. In my last BMW, I kept the stock front non-sport bar and ran an M3 rear bar in the back - Again, amazing balance...used for many years Trying...

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

Great post with all those links! I notice some of those aftermarket rear bars are skinner than the stock rear bar for the Y. How do they work?

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

They only sell as a set? Won't sell just the rear one?

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

    What was your replacement?

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

In that case, what would be a good aftermarket rear bar that would work for me?

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

I beleived the Performance always had a thicker rear bar than the rest....? 🧐

    Model Y Rear Sway Bar

I am looking at rear sway bar options for my MYLR. I came across this: I am guessing Performance Y gets a 25.2mm rear sway while others get a 23.6mm rear sway? Has anyone gone from a nonperformance sway to a performance one? I am trying to go OEM+ route and nothing aggressive while reducing...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Loving them so far. Everyone who rides in it now says it's much smoother. Still surprised by the added handling improvements, which I did not want and asked for anyway. Unless you want to spend over $15000 for coilovers, I think this is the best way to get a better ride. Please feel free to...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Are there any alternate bump stops for us? 3rd-party perhaps?
  17. T

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Would anyone know if there is a way to buy OEM bump stops separately? (So far from my findings, Tesla only sells the whole shock assembly as one?)

    Model Y Suspension Advice

One other note about Koni Special Active shocks and tire PSI: I had the PSI lowered to 38-ish since the recommended 42 was unbearable with the factory shocks - constant drumming in the back. With these shocks, I noticed that it's the opposite. When inflated back up to 42 PSI seems to ride...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Yes, the UCM nut and the stabilizer bar nut for the front have to be replaced https://service.tesla.com/docs/ModelY/ServiceManual/en-us/GUID-E9572C24-F393-4BCF-813C-230EE32876A7.html Nyloc nuts for the top of the strut, Koni's come with them...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Okay, so I just got the Koni Special Active shocks installed the other day. So as the OP, thought I would come back and give my feedback to anyone else who is looking into doing the same. Background I come from an Audi and BMW background and have had coilovers with Koni Yellow's in them for...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

I was given a 2019 M3P as a loaner for a day. Driving it on the highway....I would rather get dragged along on a carpet down the road. No wonder people praise how the new Highland ride - a world of a difference.

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Your post is the most informative one I got on this thread so far! Would you be kind enough to give more details on the differences you felt after moving to Koni Reds? Alignment, That is what I thought, you are just replacing the shocks, not messing with the spring heights or other suspension...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

I am currently running 39 on my factory 19's. Those are 255/45/19. Which modified size do you recommend for those?
  24. T

    Model Y Suspension Advice

They are not allowed. Even having a tint upon return, they charge for that. As I said in the OP, I plan to switch it back to stock shocks before returning, hopefully sell the aftermarket ones to minimize the cost.

From my understanding, it does. Still not enough..

    Model Y Suspension Advice

I am leaning toward the Koni Red FSD because this is a leased car. I have to swap it back out before returning the car in 2 years. So I am trying to see if $600 for 2 years is worth it. Do I still need an alignment if I am just doing the shocks? If I did not lease this car, I would be...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

I was waiting for the Model Y refresh, but once found out it wasn't coming anytime soon, I jumped on a 24' MYLR a few weeks ago. Since my goal was to get the most comfortable setup, I went with 19" wheels. So first of all, I should specify that this is a 2-year lease. My priority is road...

    Ear pain/Pressure help

I was in your shoes. If you look at my post on this page, you can see that a few things worked out for me. If you haven't tried out the butyl, I would highly recommend it. It took the "drumming" out of mine big time.

    Auto park/summon

I just got the new update on my 2024MY. Summon and the other parking features still aren't available due to not having sensors. I did get the new Autopark feature, where on the screen it shows potential parking spots and I can tap to have the car park into it.

    Auto park/summon

2024MY and I don't have it either. My understanding is, that new Tesla's without the sensors won't have this until they update it for the vision-based system. Doesn't the newest Auto Park feature just show up on the screen as needed?

    Ear pain/Pressure help

Interesting that you said that. I installed one due to the harsh sun, I actually thought it made the interior a bit quieter - less of a fish bowl effect. I do not have official tests to prove this.

    Ear pain/Pressure help

So, my input: I got a '24 MYLR, Austin built/manufactured in Jan, a few weeks ago. The 2-hour drive we had from picking it up gave my wife and me the worst headache imaginable. Don't get me wrong, this has the best built quality I've seen and definitely much quieter than the '22s and '23s I've...
