    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

The only definitive way to know which ship yours is on is if your VIN matches to a MOLACE vessel, in which case you know exactly how many and of what is on board, or Tesla tell you directly. Aside from that, so much research and guesswork and tea leaf reading. Believe me, I've been doing a lot...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

It helps rule things out - it kills the possibility it was the Grand Dolphin, it was already on the way to Brisbane then. Could maybe be on Turandot, which was in Shanghai around the 24th. Still on track for Brisbane on the 5th (the week old schedule had it down for the 4th), BUT...... there's...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I wholeheartedly agree. I mean, I ordered white because it was free, and white is my favourite colour, but that's me - the football team I support also wear white (Tottenham). In China black is the free colour. In the US it was midnight grey (after initially being white). I'd be curious to see...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I'll make a sliding doors prediction based on the current visible schedules. If they change then I'll update it accordingly. IF the second lot of Model 3's just allocated aren't on the Walrus Ace, our Model Ys will be on it and will be assigned within the next week or so for a delivery date...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Good insight Rug, thanks heaps. When I call I just get the petulant younger guy who gets annoyed when you dare ask any tricky questions. I've only seen one person with a quicksilver assigned here, his will it'll be on the Morning Crystal with those you mentioned above - last time I saw it had an...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I think we can safely assume if you haven't already checked yours is on the Dugong. Being that it appears there's only 100 there it should be a nice short turnaround towards the earlier part of that window, if it's due to unload on the 7th hopefully you can have it in your driveway by the...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Nothing to report. No updates on the RORO schedules as yet, Walrus isn’t due into Melbourne for 12 days yet, can’t see any other vessels which look too likely. Grand Dolphin maybe? Apparently it has carried Teslas in the past. Purely a guess, no confidence in that one at all. The slow wait...

Usually truck mate. I’ve checked the flinders port schedule, no Paganella.

My EDD is mar-apr Statistically very very very unlikely but not impossible ;)
  11. Sturty

    Australian Model Y Waiting Room

Day 50 since order. No EDD. Hopefully soon, cmon Uncle Elon. With any luck, in 50 more days it'll be pickup time... if it gets on a ship sometime soon.

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Apologies, minor error - Walrus Ace is direct to Melbourne, not Brisbane/Sydney. It’s showing as now being on the way to Melbourne now. 🔥
  13. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Walrus Ace is coming via the East Coast - will be a BNE / SYD / MEL > Perth journey like the incoming Morning Crystal, however this IS planned. Pretty confident it'll be a Tesla vessel, just unsure of whether it'll have the Model 3's allocated today on it or something else. Seems early to have...
  14. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Salvia Ace no longer appears as if its coming our way unless it's just coming via the East, it wasn't supposed to be going to the East at all though, it was supposed to be direct via Japan. It is now showing as being en route to Brisban on both ship tracking websites. The hint was the lack of...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Tomorrow marks day 50 since order. No EDD. Such a frustrating process. I really feel for all those poor devils who got stuck with the Glovis last year, that would be hair ripping out worthy
  16. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Realistically the gap is some companies let you track via vin; most don’t - so unless it’s a MolAce we’re out of luck There are a few people out there with a few magic tricks like vedaprime who quit the business at a really inopportune time for those of us here now, but nothing is ironclad
  17. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Unless it’s a MOLACE it’s unlikely to be able to he tracked. I’m playing 4D chess with the shipping schedules What was your order? Based on the trend we’re seeing here backed up by the most recent drone footage of the Shanghai port - model 3 is the primary production vehicle right now

I just got my updated order information email for my MY @TheRug80, did you ?
  19. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I’d say so, your vin isnt showing as being on the Aurora ace? https://www.molace.com/TRK/Search
  20. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Afraid not, but if you have a VIN and the EDD of early may-late May and you’ve ordered a MY It’ll be on there.
  21. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Having deep dived the information I think there are two vessels at play here, Legacy, yours is on the Dugong Ace, due to unload on the 7th or 8th. Bgeh, not sure where yours is yet. Your original white white is as you pointed out in that dugong vessel with the earlier EDD.
  22. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Strangely the newer issued black LRM3 isn’t on it - so there may be another vessel out there
  23. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

bgeh was good enough to share their VIN with me - the former white number is showing on the Dugong Ace. From there you can see the VINs of all vehicles on board. I’ve checked them all. Sadly it’s all model 3, no model y
  24. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

@V3nom, you have a white LR Y on order, any joy?
  25. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Thanks for the share, as of now in the same boat but I have hope they’re just on the LR3’s first.
  26. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Just had another LR M3 in white EDD confirmed by someone on the TOGWA fb page. There’s movement!

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Would one of you mind sending me your VIN in a PM? I’m trying to work out which vessel it’s on and it’s been driving me insane. Walrus Ace is due to load now-ish and Salvia Ace is loaded - it could tangibly be either
  28. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I emailed Tesla regarding it. Surpringly I got an instant reply which feels very AI written. I'll share it below.

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Nah, it’s doing the east coast run now before going back to Shanghai and coming here mid June after a stop in Korea
  31. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Last point of the night - I was chatting with a noted Tesla tracking expert on Twitter (I believe he’s affiliated with the chap from the UK tracking thread). He didn’t overcommit, but did tell me not to rule out Paganella’s June leg, that route via Korea isn’t unusual
  32. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

This is what infuriates me - it isn’t the inconsistent process, that’s mildly annoying, but the absolute assuredness of the customer care reps who speak out of their ass and clearly either don’t know their facts or outright lie, depending on your level of cynicalism. As each day wears on, the...
  33. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Yep same as me mate - that rep I spoke to last week told me we won’t until the final invoice / are allocated a vehicle, but I am somewhat sceptical taking this rep at face value. Play on
  34. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Just to confirm - none of us with no vehicle assigned have updated order agreements this time, no? Not since the 4/4 HW4 update for those of us with MY orders ?

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Firmly updating the probability of Walrus being our chariot, perhaps not the Salvia as I’d hedged our bets on. My apologies all - I did the sums with the info I had, and the schedule in front of me. It isn’t an exact science and I am learning as I go. The good news? The time difference is...
  38. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

No vin for you, even with the hidden vin finder chrome tool, but in the Tesla charger bit! That IS interesting I’m wondering if it was the original white/white you were matched with before changing?
  39. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

Ladies and gents I’m a little bit suspicious. I checked the ol’ Freo Ports schedule. Walrus Ace is apparently due in Fremantle in three and a half weeks or so. It’s on the way to Shanghai now from Yokohama. This run is not as it stands on the most recent Dazmac schedule, but the schedule is...
  40. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

The fact you’ve ordered a MYP gives me some faith you’ll be in our window. FYI the Salvia Ace has finished loading at Shanghai, it’s off to Xiamen before heading to Japan. Clearly this isn’t just a Tesla ship. Draught has increased from 6.7 to 7.6. Dazmac haven’t updated their schedule since...

  42. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I'm prepared to rule out Paganella's June journey as being a definiteTesla filled, due to coming via Korea and now Xiamen. Not sure what the next one after Salvia Ace is likely to be. It still coud be - the infamous stink bug ship had Kia and Tesla on it.
  43. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

It fits the bill, but one can never be 100% sure. - Not diverting to the Airport - Tesla use New Asian Shipping as a regular agent - they own the Ace vessels. - Fits the timeline for the white/white LRs allocated a few pages ago
  44. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

In the same boat mate, in the same boat. The rather petulant Tesla rep from the other day did say the system should have updated everyone with April-June EDDs when the orders changed, but he coudn't tell me why they didn't when pushed, I then made the point if thats what the app says for...

Good news all, Salvia Ace has arrived and is moored in Shanghai.
  46. Sturty

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

For those in WA - LOOKS like the likely Salvia Ace is delayed at ShanghaI, it was due in Japan four days ago, still not loaded it appears. Expect the 8/5 Fremantle arrival date to blow out quite a lot. *Still not confirmed Salvia Ace is our vessel however Edit: it arrived and is moored at...

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

Yep, I saw someone say they picked theirs up at 10AM and the price rise went live at 11AM. No dice. The line has to be somewhere
  48. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

I can’t work out why the white white has an earlier date, my logic is only that it’s right at the start of the production queue for the next vessel, being the Salvia Ace which appears to be delayed in port A lot of this is assumption and guesswork though.
  49. Sturty

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

By accident I found this thread, I'll quote it for you and send you the link. In the Model Y EPA Application, Tesla listed the dynamometer set coefficients for the three wheel and tire combinations available for the 2020 Model Y Performance. These coefficients are used to set the dyno for the...

Tesla Australia WAiting room (Perth WA)

If its any consolation the Salvia Ace looks like it's just sitting off the Shanghai port not loading, the date will blow out quite badly if I'm right - it was already two days behind schedule
