Hi Stuart,

We are pleased to inform you that your Final Invoice for your Tesla purchase is now available for access and download within your Tesla Account. To retrieve, simply log in, click on "Manage" under your Reservation Number, and navigate to the Documents section located in the right-hand column.

Your Final Invoice includes all necessary information, such as the amounts due and Tesla bank account details, which can be found on the second page. After making a payment, you can expect the transaction to be reflected in your Tesla Account within 48 hours.

If your delivery date has not yet been scheduled, you will have the opportunity to choose a convenient delivery date once your vehicle is ready. To ensure a seamless experience, Tesla requests cleared funds at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled delivery, ensuring your vehicle is registered and prepared for the handover.

For customers located in regional areas where your Tesla is being transported by a third-party carrier, full payment is required before the vehicle is dispatched for delivery.

Nice! Looking forward to my message now too 😊

They've indirectly said (in the roundabout way Tesla do) wait for delivery booking before sending payment, so you're not missing much re: action.

There's every chance the delivery centre will be a few days behind so it won't be until the end of next week before we can take delivery.
If anyone's a member of the owners club WA facebook, someone went past yesterday and took photos and it's looking nice.

Final invoice is in for those of us waiting for a delivery date.
Hopefully the booking text comes tomorrow.

Edit: Some of us at least?
I have had same experience as you up until the bit where you received your updated final invoice. Instead I got my Application for Vehicle Registration AGAIN for the exact same amount as last time when I already signed it and they acknowledged it. Not sure if this means I need to redo a step I’ve already done (with no apparent changes).

Yeah same, just got the rego application again. As far as I can see it’s identical to what I’ve already submitted.

My vehicle registration part had never actually disappeared

Hello gang! Newbie here. Placed my order on the 20th of June, took an offered black RWD over the weekend and got an invoice (EDD 5-26/july) On the invoice it said build date was 13/5/2024. When I called the advisor and asked him which state the car is coming from, he wasn’t quite sure and said the car may not be from a existing stock but maybe coming from the new batch just arrived in WA? Can I please check with you guys who have been waiting for this batch roughly when your build dates are? If I really managed to snatch something from this lot that just landed then I was pretty lucky!
Thank you :)

Hi mate, welcome. Yours is in the same delivery batch as all of ours, 13/14 May. They were loaded only a few days later and came to us via Leo Spirit where they took their two and a half week holiday in Thailand before coming to our port last week via the Dugong Ace.

That's a nice short window. I've been waiting since March 11, poor @J-D-S has been waiting since late Feb! Be glad you've not had four months of driving yourself insane not driving your Tesla.

oh woohoo thank you @Sturty! that was a very lucky catch then! my wife would be happy that she didn't have to drive me around for too long haha. hope everyone's delivery goes smoothly and glad to be in this party!

this is perhaps a mad question, what papers do you need to get signed (presume registration application - but that is it?), and where are you supposed to send them? Do they actually let you know what to do in the app?
[email protected] is the email address to send it to, it doesn't actually tell you that in the app.

or [email protected] - it doesn't seem to matter. They told me the second one, their email told me the first.

As a data point, last time the SMS was 4 business days after the your car has arrived in Australia notification. Albeit there was no move of delivery centre happening in between.
I love data points.
This is day 5 been and gone since the text now.
For my own circumstances, I really did want it to be today so it fit in with my work schedule (presuming a 7 day lead period).
In truth, the time to get the paperwork re-sorted probably isn't a bad thing. That was submitted first thing this morning.
