Tinted and bumper scratches fixed. Tesla service was great about fixing the scratches. 20% ceramic tint all around (0 on windshield).

Mine does it too! I really only hear it when I back out of my garage. My 2021 M3 also made the sound when the wheel covers were on.

Made my final payment after delivery was scheduled. Technically I made it when I picked up my car.

Scratched bumper update: Service scheduled me next week, no questions asked, $0.00 charge. The vibe was that they expected to hear from me, pretty sure they knew it was there. Nobody keyed my car :p

It definitely wasn’t keyed, I’ve been with it the whole time and we have cameras at my work parking area. It would be weird to key a car vertically, I always key cars horizontally haha! I just missed it I didn’t look around that well and was in a rush. If I have to pay to have it fixed so be it...

It had bird poop on it when I picked it up! I’ve dealt with Tigard several times and they suck.

So I noticed this giant scratch when I washed my car today, just picked it up last night I’m sure it was there when I picked it up it was dirty and I didn’t notice, anyone know do I just make a service appt or what do I do to get Tesla to fix it?

I just got the vinyl stickers off amazon for $20 in satin black. I have had red ones on my M3 for 2 years and no issues at all, I go through the touchless car wash a lot in the winter. If you don't want the silver edge around the outside the plastidip is probably better.

I plan to black out the emblems, that will make the performance badge stand out a little more I think. But ya don't really want any attention!

Sadly I don’t qualify for this one, but I got one in 2021 so I’m not mad. I hope some of the other people that picked up today got it! Went from VIN to pick up in 5 days so you have that to look forward to!

I do believe to some degree earlier orders are being prioritized. For our area I think I had one of the earliest orders (4 minutes after launch, RN12152xxxx) and the other person who has a VIN in our area I think was early too. Pretty sure checking the app every 3 minutes is what really gave me...

I was told by my SA it is after it’s built, just before it’s shipped typically. Unsure how the firmware update issue affected this process though

Seems like the firmware update or whatever caused a bottleneck. I’m wondering if they are updating it on cars at the factory before assigning vins and shipping instead of having the delivery centers update it on site? Just a guess because vins have really slowed the last couple days.

Mine went from 5/26-6/9 to 6/5-6/30. No VIN. SG/black Oregon order within minutes of release. I’m sure we’ll get them by the end of June with the end of quarter push. Gonna creep around the local Tesla holding lot later just to see probably nothing, but I’ll be next to it so why not?

I suspect a lot of us PNW people will get VINS around the same time. With my 2021 M3 I went from getting VIN to picking up my car in 3 days! Different circumstances now, but they get them here quickly. Definitely feeling left out though!
