They sent me a revised estimate after I inquired about the double charge and what do you know, they put the two charges together and instead of separate, same price. Something is fishy. Cancelled my appointment, lets see what happens in 6 months, if they will completely disabled my vehicle or not.
Got my quote today $1,127.20.
My quote says $175 for the fuse, R&R Fuse $556.50 + $381.80 R&R HV Battery, so after they remove the HV Battery it takes $556.50 worth of labor to replace the fuse, that's B.S.
Exactly 8 1/2yrs for message to pop up.
What will happen if I drive pass the reported...
Just got that dreaded message today also. Feb 2015 build MS P85D, 68K miles. Anyone know if this fuse is on top or bottom on my build?
Wonder what's next to go wrong. Time to sell.
Got DU replaced back in April 2018, part #1025598-00-P with 33k miles, 3 visits reporting a whine around 85mph. Finally a tech and I went for a test ride and he heard the whine. DU was replaced but according to this post, it's a remanufactured DU. With warranty expired 4 months ago, I'm S.O.L...
Autopilot features and cruise control are disabled on my '15 S. It also displayed that feature maybe available on next drive, but nope.
Tried rebooting, turning off and on some features and still getting this error message.
Was hoping todays software I downloaded would fix it but nope.
Sent a...
Just got my MCU2 upgrade a few days ago but don't have any of your issues you have.
Does your voice command feature work, mine doesn't after the upgrade.
Yup, bluetooth calls work. Factory reset would be last choice, hate to re-do all my settings again, was actually surprised when every one of my settings was still there after the MCU2 upgrade.
Finally got my MCU2 upgrade a few days ago but the voice command feature is not working.
It displays the microphone icon and the message (Connection Error, Try Again) on the instrument panel. Tried it with a good LTE and wifi signal,
not sure if that matters, but still no luck.
Maybe something...
Finally got my MCU2 upgrade yesterday after waiting a few months.
Grandfathered in the old price and avoided the $250 increase since I had ordered the upgrade months ago.
I was surprised all my settings were still there like homelink and seat position profile.
One issue is my Voice Command...
I'm in same situation, appointment cancelled 3 times in last 4 months due to unavailability of MCU2. Last cancellation was last week. They put me on a so called "Open Appointment date", I will be notified when part comes in and then they will contact me for an appointment, WTF.
Been waiting several months for MCU2 upgrade, my appointment has been cancelled 3 times because Tesla said parts are not available.
Anyone had an upgrade recently done in So. Cal area? Wonder if I can try another SC, of course I would have to drive to one to find out as there is no way to get a...
Anyone using the latest Tesla App v.4.9.1 on Apple IOS and able to use the feature to check Supercharging location availability.
Talked to few people and said it's not working. Don't want to upgrade from v3 from over a year ago if feature is not available or working.
Takes an average of 25-30 seconds most of the time for my instrument cluster to come on whether I'm on the energy saver mode or not. My eMMC has been replaced but still on MCU1.
@Boston Burley
Even after removing the charge port unit, shaving down the locking tab wouldn't have work either or maybe lubricating the other end of the tab lever?
I'm having same issue, usually it will takes me about 10-20 times inserting the SC charging cable in & out until the locking tab...
MCU1 to MCU2 upgrade questions. Does upgrade resets your lifetime trip mileage data?
Was it worth the $1500+tax to upgrade.
I don't have the LTE upgrade yet which Tesla will do for $200, but I did do the eMMC replacement myself.
If I recall, I did take the bottom panel off but I don't think I need to. You will need to partially take the inner wheel well panel off I think it was a 10mm nut and a push on retainer, so you can get to another screw on the bumper. Then just pull out on the bumper to unlatch from the quarter...
I ended up just popping out the left corner of the rear bumper and saw the wiring had come off the sensor, reattached it and the parking assist feature was up and running again. Tesla wanted $175 for labor (1hr) and $120 for new sensor (painted). I'm sure they would of only charged me the labor...
My left corner rear parking sensor got a minor scuff causing the "parking assist unavailable" display to come on.
Anyone replaced one of these?
Do I need to remove the entire rear bumper or will I be able to get into that area by removing the bottom panel?
Any advice appreciated.
According to Tesla app MCU2 AP1 is available for Mobile Service at my home but I rather have them do it at a Service Center. If I place my location as the same as the Service Center is that like scheduling it there or will the Mobile Service just end up going there. I figured it's best to have...
Last five times I have SuperCharged I had to reboot my MCU to get it to charge?
The screen would display "Charge Port Open" but no charging, no green light ring.
Tried other stalls and the same issue, but charges after a reboot.
Anyone with this issue?
Tesla won't even sell you the LTE upgrade to do it yourself which is about $120. Now it's only $200 installed? I guess Tesla wants to continue to track you, not sure if they can after 3G goes away, unless you connect to wifi or a hotspot.
Taken this morning 5/22, looks like the heavy winds last night knocked down the fencing or EV haters going through.
Trenching all filled, slowing getting there.
