Full Size Spare Location - Roof?

Hitch based tire carrier is the way to go. take a look at this one - it even has room for a Jerry can, so you can confuse us all. Seriously I've considered the utility of having that hitch receiver, and there are some nice choices now. Hitchgate™ Spare Tire Carrier – Ford

    EAP issue with On-Ramps

In California they'd happily try to paint over potholes.

    EAB and Lane Assist Standard?

The lane departure warning really should be Thunderbird, by Hans Zimmer (ok, so you don't have to search - its the song playing at the end of Thelma and Louise).

Has anyone confirmed whether the OEM 19" wheel fits on the P3D+ hub?

It says right on the page you linked to that it is not compatible.

    Advice Needed

Charging at 5rmph is 14 hours (for 70 miles). That's a lot of time for the car to be unavailable on daily average. If you can charge at work though, its a piece of cake. The Bay Are is full of people doing exactly that.

VINs of cars who lost back bumper cover?

This is making me rethink adding a hitch, as it seems that trimming out a hole in some plastic panel is needed. Thoughts?

    The Performance Upgrade Package Question

I was test driving the P3+ at Tesla Headquarters yesterday and had the opportunity to ask the sales folk whether the 19" would fit over the PUP brakes. They went and found one of the product engineers who told me that "they certainly will". It looked to me like there was plenty of room as well...

Any M3 Tech Solution to Eliminate Front Air Dam Crunches?

If they can measure wheel rotation accurately and gauge initial distance then they're set.

Any M3 Tech Solution to Eliminate Front Air Dam Crunches?

Well, the tech may actually be there. You don't need a sensor that can image at distances of 1 ft. You need a sensor that can image at (say) 10 ft and other means to figure out how far you've traveled. I bet that could be added by software.

Picking up tomorrow, Tesla said I have a 15 minute window to pickup, BS

Just in case anyone from the delivery centers is reading, i think it's time to consider a classic Le Mans start for picking up your new P3. If you want to start your drive by one jog around the car for inspection, sure go for it, but know that the other drivers will already be launching theirs.

Will the Performance Model 3 w/ 20 inch wheels be able to accept the 18" for winter tires?

As i pointed out, the TireRack site lists a 2018/M3 OEM tire selection for staggered wheels. That's *all* I have to go on. The rotors on the new performance package are larger (as confirmed by Tesla Dublin and a call to the M3 Hotline, with the requisite 45 minute wait). Both said the 18's...

Will the Performance Model 3 w/ 20 inch wheels be able to accept the 18" for winter tires?

The upper-lower links change would also be a give-away, I think, that the wheels are staggered. So... rumors of a somewhat different suspension are true, albeit perhaps trivially so.

Will the Performance Model 3 w/ 20 inch wheels be able to accept the 18" for winter tires?

FWIW, i was told no. the rotors are a larger diameter. Not that I believe TireRack has inside knowledge, but they list 235/35-20 Front and 275/30-20 Rear as OEM sizes for the 2018 Model 3 with staggered wheels. That's a lot of rear width. That would also imply that the tires are the stickier...

P85D motor hp controversy starts also to show in U.S. media

Looked at the Yahoo article by Zach Doell just now. Here's a guy that writes articles about cars presumably as his livelihood, and he stunningly seems not to understand the issue. Thinks that Tesla is still adding the numbers. Thinks that dyno-testing gets 550HP. Why do so few people understand...

Is there a reason you don't want to get it from the car? Click on the WiFi symbol at the top of the 17. Click on WiFi Settings Click on the information (i) symbol - hmmm. wish i could actually post the symbol - its the little script 'i' in the circle. Your MAC address will appear right next to it.

    Changing Delivery Date

To maximize recognized revenue in each quarter, i expect, as I believe revenue is recognized when the cars are delivered and accepted by the customer. US cars are more quickly delivered (particularly at the factory), so TM would like the foreign cars to be manufactured and shipped early in the...

    Loss of map data

Ok, this may be improbable, but if you're zoomed way out and off the map, you'll see grid, but no other features. Try places->somewhere you've been, and zoom way in or out. Changing from satellite to map view might help as well. I was able to recreate your problem, with 6.2. btw, holding down...
