I just started having this issue. How did you resolve this?

Do we think the pedestal is centered in each parking spot or between parking spots?

These chargers will ruin my excuse to let me eat at Moe's at the existing chargers.

Plugging into a 120V/20A outlet would be more than adequate to charge your car during a cruise.

It will be interesting to see if it will be Pay-to-Park, and how they will keep the EV spots de-ICE'd

My guess/hope is this is Super Charger expansion No work is being done around the cabinets and transforms.

Some construction at the Turkey Lake Service Plaza looks like it could be an expansion of the Super Charger stalls. I'll get some pictures next time I'm there.

I drove by today and it looks like all equipment and the meter have been installed. Covers on the pedestals except for two that a technician was working on.

I drove through the Wawa parking lot yesterday and didn't see any signs of prep yet. Spray paint markings were the first the thing I saw at the most other locations I watched from pre-construction. One of them the first thing was a small cargo container being dropped on-site.

I've traveled from Orlando to Miami, Washington DC, and San Antonio, TX each several times and the safest I've felt at night are at the Superchargers in the Service Plazas on the Florida Turnpike.

The announcement that may give some weight to the future of S/X is the announcement by Elon that Model Y production will be in Fremont. Some estimates are that Y will outsell the current volume of S/X/3 combined. Fremont is big, but something is going to have to give up some space there.

You never know. Construction time doesn't always relate to inspection time. I've noticed some Superchargers that get built quickly have the longest waiting time for inspection and final turn-up. Even Las Vegas would have a difficult time setting odds on Supercharger Go-Live dates.

Celebration is not a municipality, just a large, well organized development.

It is closer to WDW than the Sandlake WaWa, but in the wrong direction for anyone going south or east.

It's also right next to a Krispy Kreme. Just what my waistline needs, 30 minutes to kill near a Krispy Kreme.

No... and I just had my S at the Service Center for its 50K check-up, but they didn't update the software.

Many months ago someone had posted how to disengage the connector lock from inside the trunk. Caution was advised due to the proximity to the high amperage cables. You can try searching or asking on one of the more general forums.

You can open the charge port door via the app. If a cable is plugged in, the app gives you the option to unlock the cable once charging is completed or stopped.

No Meter still!

Stopped by today (Thursday, 1/31/19) and still no meter.

The meter isn't installed yet. Housing for the meter is the first little green box from the left in the second photo. Some other members will be able to let us know what tasks remain after the meter goes in.

For the Disney hotels, I would think if they made 110V outlets available it would fill the need for most of their guest with EVs. Charge rate isn't an issue if your car is plugged in for over 48 hours.

I'm looking for a new lunch destination trip from Orlando. I missed the club event at the OL Corral Gun Club. Is it a good location to travel to for lunch?

According to PlugShare USF has EV Chargers at Four locations on campus.

I've done Orlando to Miami many times in my Model S. Ft. Drum is the most convenient. Port St Lucie has the best lunch options.

This is Good News! Hopefully, they will not spend money on level 3 charging. I think level 1 charging at an airport would be adequate for most users.

What's everybody's guess on what will happen in the future when 20%+ of the cars are EVs? Do we expect destinations like Walt Disney World to keep installing charging stations to keep up with all of the EVs? Ideally yes, especially if there is a profit in it. But I'm not sure I can visualize...

If there is one thing I learned from watching the construction of the Altamonte Superchargers, is that the most logical, obvious and convenient location, may have absolutely nothing to do with where the Superchargers end up.

I reported 1B inoperative to Tesla on July 12th. I wonder if they haven't fixed it, or it was fixed then broke again.

For those that want more than just food, the Mall at Millenia in Orlando has two Tesla HPWC chargers. The food options range from the food court to 4-star dining. The other includes the Apple Store, Microsoft Store, Tiffany, etc.

I also found the Runway Cafe at Sebring Airport. Excellent food and you can sit on the patio to watch planes takeoff and land. They have two HWPC Destination chargers.
