@gregd Yes, impossible to get a hold of someone..chat was no help. They told me to send an email to customer service. I rechecked the VIN on another website and calculated the check sum manually and it is fine. I am being told the VIN on the car is not scanning.

@da2ny You may be on to something...the check character is incorrect. Thanks for the insight. I will let whoever I am able to get a hold of to correct this for me know.

I am unable to sell my Roadster because the VIN information is incorrect in the NHTSA. The incorrect year is shown. My car is a 2008 and it is showing as a 2011 in their database. I have been on the phone for hours trying to contact an actual person who can help me, as only someone at Tesla can...

I bought my 2008 Roadster (version 1.5) in Jan 2015 and the prices are pretty much the same as they were then for a comparable model. The only service I've done is the yearly $600 annual maintenance. Haven't even had to put air in the tires.

I'd love to go! I own a Roadster in LA close to event location and would gladly be someone's +1 and drive to/from :)
