Fabulous. I could sure use some curb rash protection, as I seem to have to repair such every year. That alone is a big selling point for me.

Yep - I run XIce's in the winter, and switch to summer tires late spring. Both with their own set of Tesla 19" cast wheels.

I am still running on my set of XIces right now, so I haven't bought the new summer'ish tires yet. (The All-Season rating will give me a wide temp range of use.) But, I am getting close to doing so. I think I'll call Tire Rack and see what their GURU has to say in addition to what I get off...

I am about to need new all season tires for our Model S. Looking at Tire rack's site, they are touting Vredestein Quatrac Pro tires as my best bet. Has anyone tried those?

Possible rattle source. We had a right rear rattle in our 2015 85D that was traced to a faulty air shock. This is a known issue. If your car has the air leveling package, try kicking or hammering on the sidewall of the tire closest to the perceived rattle. See if that duplicates it. The SC...

My 2015 S85D had a wind noise in the right rear door. Now fixed. Indy Service Ctr had to take the door apart in order to reangle the glass so it met the rubber seal snuggly at all edges. That fixed things for me.

Anyone concerned about cable temps? I noticed that the UMC cable on my 50 amp circuit (limited to 40 amps charging) got quite hot during charging. So, I reduced my charge rate to 30 amps (still plenty to re-up the battery overnight) and the cable was only slightly warm then. Being a chemical...
