Hi, I just set up the dash cam / sentry mode SD card for recording. I was told not to use an SD card larger than 32 GB. Since it doesn't overwrite for the sentry mode those recordings take up a lot of space. I'm thinking that you need 2 SD cards so you can swap them out when the gray "x" appears...

THANKS SO MUCH! Exactly the info I was looking for!!! No worry for freezing weather here. More likely to be too hot than too cold. I can plug it into a 120V and still move it to the other side of the garage. I'll charge to 90% and then reset it to 50. We'll see how it goes. Fingers crossed.

I could plug it in, but was going to move it to the part of the garage without power for a variety of convenience reasons. Guess I will leave it where it is so I can plug it in. I was thinking about setting the charge level to half (150 miles) and have it charge nightly after it gets that low...

Anyone left their car for an extended period of time without charging? Can the model 3 Long Range be left parked for 70 days without charging it? Will there still be battery to start it and move it to a charger?
