I understand your hesitation but if I can do it, anyone with the tools can. The Service Center would be able to take care of you but be prepared to pay for the entire assembly instead of just the light bulb. Which may actually be the root of your light going out, just depends.

At this point out of warranty, I’d rather have the option that reduces battery capacity in exchange for supercharging speed.

I believe 85 batteries got nerfed supercharging at high speeds a while ago. I’d look for a 90 battery for chemistry.

I just went back to look on Teslafi. My 50% SoC speed in 2019 was 68kw. Today at 50% SoC it’s 39kW. I think at this point I’d rather change speed for mileage. At 5% SoC my power is great! If only there were superchargers on my route every 75 miles.

Woah! If this is my problem it's a game changer. I can start out at 117kW if under 10% but will rapidly fall to 50kW and anything above 50% SoC and I'm down into the 30s. I will check into this.

The 30-50kW supercharging on my 85 w/200k miles is frustrating. This would be awesome! I have no desire for AP but do enjoy the FUSC. One day!
