I have a staggered set of TSW Nurburgrings that i originally bought for my 2018 M3 LR that I recently refinished and has Pilot Spot All-Seasons put on. I'm currently running those on my 2023 M3P which I'll be trading in. I'll prob run them all year, but we'll see.
Don't mind the dirty car. I...
Here's a flyover of Fremont yesterday. You can see them testing some highlands. Unfortunately the delivery lot isn't full of them. There's a smaller lot that has some though.
That's shitty about the demo unit. Sorry! The one I'm picking up is a new inventory car. I have 50% off Michelin tires from when i complained about the tire roar on my now totaled S. So I'll just replace them with Pilot Sport All Seasons.
I just made the plunge on a discounted Midnight Silver and Black interior M3P. It was in inventory at my closest dealer with $4,590 off. I was waiting for a Highland (whatever the performance iteration of that will be), but with no dates on when that will be I figured with the full tax credit...
I'm picking up at discounted M3P at the end of the year and I was wondering if anyone has taken delivery of one recently in the NE and can let me know what tires they came with.
My wife's MYP came with the pilot sport all seasons but all my research so far just shows the summer Pirellis.
having just had my MSLR totaled I'm now (not so patiently) waiting for a Highland performance. Q1 is going to be a painful wait, will have to keep stealing the wife's MYP as winter on the KTM will be brutal.
Someone lost control coming through a junction due to oil on the road and hit me in the ride when I was stationary at the light. Insurance is paying out $71k but I'm still quite a bit out of pocket after custom rims and ppf :/
My vibration and shudder under hard acceleration are no longer an issue. Unfortunately it's also resulted in the car getting totaled. Guess I'm going to wait and get a M3 Highland instead.
I have shudder under hard acceleration. They claim it's the cold grease and it should go away when warmed up. But that's different to what this thread is about. I have that too :/
Just want to point out that every single (non-Tesla) car I've bought in the past 10+ years has tried to sell me ppf. I'm not sure innovation is the right word here :)
Email [email protected] after taking a look on their site and he can set you up with the right fitment for you. He can also let you know if there's any deals to be had.
Not a software issue, but a software workaround a mechanical issue. At least that's my take. I'm glad they are doing something about it through. Not sure what @jebinc will do if he doesn't have this to complain about tho ;)
One of the main roads by our house has just been milled in prep for being resurfaced. It's crazy how much vibration from that comes through the accelerator pedal (I also experience the acceleration vibration).
That's not true. It's different. See the other thread for a comparison. These threads really need consolidating. Who's getting the normal steering wheel?
I didn't realize the airbags were a different part no, so I've asked the service center for the airbag back, which wasn't in the yoke they gave back to me. I bet it's long gone now though :(
I sent them a message using the app when the car was in service. When I asked the guy who told me my car was ready he said not a problem, he'd seen the message and the yoke is in the trunk.
