You're tiered tax credit numbers are off. So are the person's that tried to correct you. Your math is a little funny too. Half of $7500 is $3750, not $3500. And half of $3750 is $1875. No one will be able to get $2500 in the final phaseout period, it will be limited to $1875. -

My wife sent me a link to the Motor Trend article. These are my responses to her as I went through the article and the videos. Pretty horribly written and executed in my opinion. Maybe I was being a little harsh, but it was not as good as it could/should have been.
