Our goal was never to win the event overall -- have you taken a look at the competition? But, I believe the Tesla could win the Alternative Fuel class and do very respectively overall. I think people would stand up and take notice of how well the Tesla could do.

I'm surprised Tesla enthusiasts haven't shown more interest here for this type of an event. I think this is a perfect event to demonstrate exactly what a Tesla is capable of, today!

I was driving north on I-295 in Rhode Island just before getting on I-95 north and was surprised to see that the little speed limit sign on the dash read 85. Haven't been back through there since to see if the problem replicates itself.

Dithermaster, Hope you can make it out to the tracks in WI. A day at the track is always a great time! The One Lap of America can tend to be a little addictive so I'm not surprised to hear that your friend has run it twice. Maybe we should all have our heads examined?

You've got the event figured out. I like to describe it as a week of race all day, drive all night, repeat. The ultimate roadtrip!

7racer, My co-driver is more mechanically inclined than I but because it's a Tesla hopefully we won't have to turn too many wrenches during the week.

Thank you. Now I've got it. Those two potential sites look like maybe DuBois and Williamsport based on their proximity on the map. Obviously, these two SCs won't be built in time for my trip at the beginning of May. I'm a newbie but now I know a little bit more, thanks to your help.

Can you provide a link for the map you are looking at with two SC across 80 in PA? I don't see them on this map: Find Us | Tesla Motors I only see one in Tannersville, PA. Thanks.
