I can't imagine much utility for a towing with an EV. Using as an accessory hitch yes, but 95% of the time if you are towing something with wheels its going to be for a longer distance trip. Even on the model x with a large battery it seems like a not to typical scenario. Also can't imagine...
I also prefer solid, it would have also meant the body could have been strong enough to support a hatch design. Also its very unclear if there can be a realistic roof rack option they way its designed now.
Personally I think it will suck if not included with price and/or they don't offer a per charge fee. I mean if I plan to use it mostly around home 95% of the time, it would still be nice to use a super charger on a road trip without renting a car if I didn't want to pony up the thousand dollar...
8' surfboard inside a Mazda6
8' board inside newer Sentra
That said, a 7' board is an odd duck, not really a more popular short board or a long board, more like some kind of hybrid
I made two orders using two different emails around 10:15am yesterday at the Fremont, CA location. Never got confirmation of either but I did create a mytesla account with the same email and the reservation number shows up there.
Agree the front is ugly, I like the s but the x front is very ugly and plain, I know it doesn't need one but a simulated grill type area like the S looks much better, especially for those of us in states that require a front plate

Interesting, the implication is it just matters what day you reserved and not the time?
