I read about the Thrifty Tesla in the latest NRMA Open Road magazine.
NRMA owns Thrifty Car Rental and had purchased one for rental at the Canberra location.
It now appears on the Thrifty web site but when you click on it takes you to a page about specials on utes.
Looks like it won't be available until November, but think it will be popular.
It was great! Just over 20 cars on display. a few Leafs, a few i-MieVs, a few Outlanders, a Volt, an eTron, a Model S. Lots of home-builts/conversions. the TREV which drove around the world was also on display. Plenty of people stopping and asking questions during the whole day including the Lord Mayor Martin Haese, where he made an announcement about EV chargers. Both ABC and Nine news were there - ABC's story is here - Adelaide council to roll out 40 electric car charging stations in 2017
