Your metric of performance may be very different than what others think. Straight line performance isn't the end all be all of driving experience. So your comment is moot as far as what you'd consider verses what someone else may consider.

I have both cars actually like you do. The BMW service is hands down better than Tesla and the cost of the cars are equivalent and in some cases less for BMWs. My case in point is my i3s I got for $22k used and still get brand new level car service when I take it in for a checkup, service...

Aren't you supposed to change out the brake fluid every two years? That's the standard for pretty much all cars...EV or not.

Could your brakes be binding ever so slightly? Have you tried putting the car in Roll mode to see how quickly the car slows down...if at all...at speed? Just thinking out loud. How about alignment? Etc. Possible excessive motor friction? Have you monitored if your car has excessive vampire...

What I do is unlock the charging port with the app then pull the connector+adapter out once the Tesla symbol is WHITE. I do not click the connector button or else it deactivates the power physically from the EVSE and also disengages the adapter...leaving the adapter in the vehicle port.

I hear that when I turn the system off...it sounds like a pressurization/depressurization of some kind. Not sure. Do you ever hear a loud rising growling sound accompanied severe vibration after not having used the system for a long time (like a couple of days)?

Did a mechanic leave an instrument or measuring device in the car during assembly? Sounds like a leftover item.

Honda's and Toyotas don't start at $45k and up. There are cheaper BMWs than a Tesla and you still get the excellent service if something goes wrong. So I'm not sure what expectations you are talking about.

I agree. We picked up ours on 1/31 and frankly I've been very disappointed with both the service and the overall quality of this vehicle. I've been driving EVs for the last 8 years and never seen such quality snags as you see in Teslas. These are not cheap vehicles by any stretch of the word...

I have a rattle at the A-pillar/dash interface on the driver's side close to the windshield. If I tap the speaker like material at the end of the dash, the rattle occurs and sounds like a twangy sort of sound. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I will try and put up if possible.
