Just got the update yesterday. No automated prompt, just manually check for updates and pop out :-). LR AWD, have had the car for over a month now. Noticeably higher kick when flooring the pedal, HOLD mode is absolutely great! Location - Czech Republic.

2000 is excluding VAT. It is actually 2380 EUR. grrr

I already received updated invoice, with 2300 EUR incl VAT to be paid as a compensation for the umwelt bonus. If I do not pay they will not give me the car despite I have zero balance on the final invoice and papers are on the way. They say I am free to cancel and other customers are waiting in...

So now, 9 days from delivery and after having paid everything according to order agreement and final invoice, Tesla Munich calls me that I do not qualify for the 2000EUR umweltbonus and that I would need to pay that amount more still. There are now discussing how to deal with it internally...

Picking up my Model 3 LR AWD in Munich on September 28th, ordered September 11... Soooo excited, there was a boat approaching EU shores and they could match my config the same day. Went all the way, decided initially to order the SR+ but when I was about to pull the trigger, could not resist...

Not yet, the guy I was talking to was on vacation and came back Monday, as per the automated email reply... :-). Net net from the experiences shared above, Tesla will sell you the car, incl VAT. You pay VAT back in your home country and ask Tesla for a refund upon sending them your registration...

I read about Germany car imports in more detail. Unfortunately, there is almost if not a zero chance to claim teh VAT back from the Financial authority. It is the seller, in this case Tesla, who should return to you the VAT paid, if they are not able to issue invoice without VAT in the first...

So I checked with Tesla store in Berlin, where TM3 is considerably cheaper, than in Austria. Also in Germany, any EU citizen can buy the car, as confirmed by the email attached. However, also no VAT free invoice, need to claim VAT back.

Regards to Slovakia! It has been almost a month since you placed the order in Vienna, any updates on the TAX refund? As for me, I reserved 4 days after the reveal and my delivery status still says EARLY 2019 :-). Actually this is not funny anymore, at least they should refresh the info/estimate...

Same here, Czech Republic, TM3 reservation holder since April 4, 2016. Anybody can order now and my Tesla page says, estimated delivery “EARLY 2019”... WTF? Is is May now and they even cannot get that straight... No notification, communication, nothing... 1k EUR free financing for 3 years and...

Do I read it well? Just checked M3 configuration page for USA and it says the price before savings and incentives is 38,000USD! Is this a mistake or there was another price increase? I thought that Tesla confirmed the base price for SR M3 stays at 35,000USD

I have completely different impression from the videos and from the pictues, e.g. those from the configurator... I really like the blue Y with black wheels they used for test rides... I hate the stills with the M3 wheels on, ugly as hell. So as always, to me, wheels make the difference! :-)...

Agree! I think it is completely unfair for anybody to jump now ahead of the existing reservation holders... Why should a US reservation made now get priority over mine (Czech Republic) made two years ago? Then the whole point of reserving does not make sense! If I cancelled now, and ordered when...

European reservation holder from April 4, 2016 - non owner. Got a delay from LATE 2018 to EARLY 2019, six months. Estimating that my position is roughly 270k-300k and seeing the production ramp to 5k/week end of Q2, 120k to 160k cars will be made in H2 2018... So EARLY 2019 estimate is bullcrap...

All excited and pumped up about seing SN1 pics and the 30 car handover/reveal part 3 party! But I am really wondering what is up with the Q2 deliveries falling short and blaming it on battery pack availability (due to 100Kwh packs), while hinting 30 and 100 M3 cars in July and August...

It does not look like the final steering wheel to me... Especially the center/airbag part looks far from being a production quality. Looks like made of rubber of some kind...

Day and night, fully agree. I am also disappointed though it does not mean, that I am not going for the 3. Dependant on multiple factors.

Do not know whether it is the settings onthe central screen, but the visibility of the display is really low under day light. Wanted to spot some of the graphics design and layout, but still in progress I think... :-)

From more and more pics coming in, the M3 actually looks quite massive!

I mentioned it in the other sightings thread, but if you look closely at the silver RC pics and different parts of the body, the alignment and inconsistent gaps are really bad. Frunk, bumper/front left side panel, trunk opening... Hope this is early morning version of RC, otherwise no good haha.

Body alignment is very BAD :-(... Other RC candidates seemed to be of a better quality. Different gaps sizes, the front bumper/front left body panel alignment is a disaster. Looks like it has a minor dent also, maybe that's why...

I thought I would never buy a red car in my life... Now I am seriously tempted!

Bloody hell, this is exactly the car I WANT! What is so hard to get it done when you got it right first time? :-)))... This color, wheels, front and angle are just perfect!
