    Long Trip immediately after pickup - Go ahead or avoid?

    Did the exact same thing as you are planning, but 1,000 round trip with 1 night of ownership to prep. checked that the charger worked, app wasn't available (took 24 hrs to transfer data), so take your key card & try to stop at the superchargers w/ the most stalls. Best road trip I ever took!

    Home Charger

    Tesla includes a J1772-to-Tesla adapter with the Model S. that's probably your simplest solution assuming they include in the M3 too.
