I wonder what the logs would say. Would the logs show that the sensors were working properly and it was user error or would it show that the sensors stopped working?
If it's the former, I'd start worrying about Tesla's logs in regards to AP accidents and their belief in their logs.
The extra black extension is probably the fasttrak area that's in the refresh S.
I'm starting to think the eletrek article is incorrect. We should have seen some in the wild by now if the housings were already on the factory line when the article was published, but I hope I'm wrong.
I've never financed a car before so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
i'm currently financing a new S via Alliant and have been approved. If I were to refuse delivery at the delivery center and forego my $2500 deposit what happens to the check from Alliant. That will probably have been...
After the announcement that Mobile Eye and Tesla were parting ways, I thought the next gen of AP hardware was going to be at least 2017 since new chip designers weren't hired until 2/2016 and it would take them a while to design new chips in house.
This new Eletrek article tells me that Tesla...
90% of the time I'd go with the 2 year old car, but IMO 3 things skew the current equation in favor of new:
1) Tax rebate
2) Model S reliability has improved dramatically over the years
3) Battery degradation (A two year old P85 with 5% loss = new S75)
I have a 125A panel and just had no more room in the panel. I paid $700 to change it out to one with more space to accommodate the extra breaker and 6AWG wire. It didn't require an additional wiring to replace the panel itself.
I was under the impression the HEPA filter isn't included as part of prepaid service, just the cabin filter. However, if the cabin filter is changed regularly, the HEPA filter doesn't need to be changed.
On some LA freeways there's no shoulder in the fast/carpool lane. Some portions have a concrete sign support column that cuts into the lane a tiny bit.
Do you guys feel comfortable using AP on those portions?
I think it's great that you're excited by Teslas and EVs. Perhaps you're fortunate that other posters have opened your eyes a little bit before you took delivery.
It's never easy to be part of wholesale change. Early adopters sacrificed convenience and money. Model 3 owner's may still need...
Given that Tesla hasn't delivered on their end of the bargain, do you think they would let you cancel your order and get your $2500 confirmation deposit back?
I was able to take a Model S home for a day and tried out summon to park in a two car garage.
While it worked, I was on pins and needles the whole time. Anybody use summon daily in a tight environment? Is it reliable enough to use all the time?
Would a new Model S owner that made a new reservation today get priority over non-owners that placed their reservations months ago or has that ship sailed?
For those of you guys that are getting the upgrade in writing, are you also getting the price of the upgrade in writing as well?
I'm sure that the 75kw battery will be preinstalled, but will the upgrade still be $8000 USD? What if they decide to raise the price later?
