Still worth getting a Model 3 if Electricity costs more than Gas?

I am neither. I provided an explanation that I disagreed that something was debunked. It was one sentence. I figured it would be well understood.

Still worth getting a Model 3 if Electricity costs more than Gas?

I disagree about it being dubunked. It's the only thing you said and I didn't think it needed an explaination. I limit it due to those on this site that search your history and disagree with all your posts based on a disagreement. Eliminates childishness.

    Anyone regretting their purchase

Opposite for me. The ice loaner during one if my many SC visits convinced me not to purchase my 3, but go back to something reliable and well finished.

From Love to Hate in one Roadtrip

I completely agree with that. Thus the request for something with substance. I'll do the search.

Police officer claim I didn't stop. Any data I can retrieve from my model S?

There are those that can. It's not easy, or something aa la person can interpret. Thus the insistance of dash cams by many on here.

    Autopilot False Positive Braking

From Love to Hate in one Roadtrip

High voltage/amperage connection. Bad idea. People get killed by things like this.
  11. DrivingRockies

    Sudden Unintended Acceleration

    That should never happen.
  12. DrivingRockies

Can Tesla's supercharger infrastructure support the number of M3 being sold?

It can't keep up with existing. Adding more will be much worse.
  13. DrivingRockies

    Worried New Owner

I didn't. I still own multiple ICE vehicles. I trust them much more. Tesla crash test are better, autopilot is fun, but falling behind.

    Door panel damaged

An upholstery stop can repair it, but it will be obvious. Only real fix is replacement.

    Model 3 tail chrome bar

No, not a fan of chrome. Looks good in the design though, if you like chrome.

Rotating tires on an X? Annual service fail...

Had that happen. Took it back, they curbed it on the test drive after. Alignement was bad obviosuly at that point, and tire and wheel damaged. No one said anything to me. They replaced the tire that was damaged, but not the opposite one, I had to pay for that. They refused to replace the...

    Post Software Update - Model X non-responsive

That's not what the claim was. The claim was bricked means battery only. brick brik/ verb past tense: bricked; past participle: bricked 1. block or enclose with a wall of bricks. "the doors have been bricked up" 2. informal cause (a smartphone or other electronic device) to become completely...

Model X FWD damage | Hit garage wall

You'll regret that when the sensor quits working. Door shut, but no driving for you.
  22. DrivingRockies

    My X after 60 days.

It's what you get at a fan boy site. My experience has been very poor. I love autopilot, charging instead of fuel is a fun gimmick, I don't recommend the vehicle to anyone. Especially with the monthly visits to the service center an hour away...

    Plugging into random 110 outlet

It IS theft. Just because you steal a little bit, doesn't make it ok to do. And a prosecutor not taking someone to court doesn't make something legal. This is a rediculous question. JUST ASK

    Customer Service is Dead

Funny thing is, the ICE loaner is actually what finally convinced me to go ICE on my new car. I had forgotten the difference in quality. Still have my X, but my daily driver is a solid car now.

    Anti-selling worked

I can't speak for their industrial equipment, probably wouldn't go that direction myself since they're not (to my knowledge) a huge player in the field. Sorry to hear of your plight. I've been looking into another forklift myself, thanks for the review.
  31. DrivingRockies

    Anti-selling worked

No hybrid. Bad design. Owned one before.
  32. DrivingRockies

    Anti-selling worked

New Toyota Avalon :) I didn't stay in the Tesla line. Went for something tried and true. Keeping the X though.
  33. DrivingRockies

    Anti-selling worked

I'm out. Bought a new car. Fit and finish is good, rain sensing wipers, adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, auto-brights, navigation, etc are all top-notch. Non-owners and a few owners can take one step forward.

SOLUTION - How to pay for the EV tax credit!

Same argument. I want someone else to pay for my toy because I disagree with the toy they want. And thus ushers in the circular argument.

SOLUTION - How to pay for the EV tax credit!

No, it was never stated or insinuated that they couldn't. Nor is that even relevant to the argument...

SOLUTION - How to pay for the EV tax credit!

Forcing the competitors to be more expensive so you're more affordable? Might as well have the tax rebates.

[POLL] How much will loss of EV tax credit slow EV adoption rate?

Unfortunately everything cool about a Tesla isn't in the $35k range.
  39. DrivingRockies

[POLL] How much will loss of EV tax credit slow EV adoption rate?

In my opinion (and experience) they are completely unable to replace an ICE vehicle in all conditions. Lot's have purchased Tesla purely for the technology, not for the "green" aspects. (There are numerous polls on this subject) Tesla has not been able to solve their parts issues, supercharging...

    Radar detectors

Without a remote laser detector, I can't imagine it's too good against those.
  41. DrivingRockies

SOLUTION - How to pay for the EV tax credit!

Having other people help pay for your toys. Charging others because you disagree with theirs.

    Charging Percentage Poll

There were some (unconfirmed comments to my knowledge - I never watched the video on this link) from one of Tesla's people that 50-70% is truly the happiest place. 90% is only very minimally "worse" on the battery. Tesla Battery Expert's Recommendation For Maximum Battery Life - Video

GOP tax reform bill would end the $7500 EV tax credit (and other tax related grousing and grumbling)

I wouldn't have purchased my X. I came for autopilot. Other companies are making great advancements in the area. With the Model 3 delays, the change in speech to "I still think" from "This hardware will" I've decided to start looking into other vehicles.
