So do we know the actual usable battery capacity now? It seems to be roughly 92kWh usable from the tests above and therfore 96kWh total capacity (if 4kWh buffer like other packs) I havent found anyone else test this.

It would be a booster, connected to the same compressor but has a small condenser. By the time the all ready cooled air from the front AC gets to the rear it would have heated up a bit, the booster then adjusts the temperature. Same goes for heating with a heat coil. Very common, lots of cars...

The car probably knows exactly how much power it got from what source. Tesla should implement vehicle to home hardware and then if your battery is charged 60kWh from a supercharger, and the remaining 30kWh from your home, then you only get 30kWh available for your house. That would stop people...

Dont understand why the software lock would still allow the 60 pack to charge to 4.2V each cell. With the S40 back then the pack was locked in the top part. So the pack just never charged fully.

The per cell voltage should not go above 4.2V on any pack. 4.2V is the max for any li-ion cell I thought. Its possible that the pack cuts off earlier, so instead of a discharge cut off of 3.8V in the 75kwH the 60 could be cutting off at 3.9 or whatever and thus the lower capacity.
