No storm watch events this year...

A friend of mine and I didn't get a storm watch this weekend or the past rain event. We both are located on the SF Bay Peninsula and had power outages today.

Interior Trim Options at Tesla Parts Store - LTRA vs PURB

My driver's side door beltline panel is in need of replacement from using it as a elbow rest for the past 6+ years. While I have the ESA, don't think this wear and tear would be covered: Found what I need on Tesla's part catalog but am wondering if anyone knows off hand if anyone knows the...

    Tesla delivery times

Well. This is the pickup line at the Tesla Factory right now: They're literally delivering cars right off the factory line. Not a good way to start off the customer service experience. At the end, this is a "first world problem" but should still be brought up. I'm sure their numbers will be...

    Tesla delivery times

A family member is getting rescheduled for the 4th time for their X. This will be the 4th Tesla being picked up with family/friends. My Model S pickup experience was fantastic back in 2016. Model 3 was more streamlined, but expected. This Model X delivery so far has been horrid and like many...

Northern California PW installs BUMPED to 2020!!

Unfortunately, as you kind of eluded to, this is only for commercial installations. For residential, it has to be operation by year end.

Northern California PW installs BUMPED to 2020!!

Started the process here for my install back in September this year. Got told my install date is Feb 5. 2020. Was hoping for by end of the year install, like you. Regarding the 20kW limit, from what I'm told, in some jurisdictions like Cupertino, if the permit is pulled before the end of the...

PG&E Rate Schedules: "Home Charging" (EV2-A) Goes Live vs. Others

Been logging in every couple days to see when they'll be switching. Still on EV-A here. Was hoping to get two powerwalls before the EV2-A switch. Started the process in early September and as hoping for December for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, looks like Tesla Energy doesn't have any...

PG&E Rate Schedules: "Home Charging" (EV2-A) Goes Live vs. Others

Well... There goes my yearly bill, a 260% increase: Now trying to do the math to see if a Powerwall makes sense.

    Ensenada, Mexico | Supercharger?

How do you guys handle the insurance requirement when visiting South of the border? From what I understand, most US insurance policies exclude coverage in Mexico.

EMotorWerks JuiceBox Pro 75 and Tesla S

If you have a 2016 refresh, it should max out at 48A. Unsure if the J1772 adapter has a 40A limit though.

    Blinking TPMS light at startup

Noticed this as well. Thought it was low pressure but even after ensuring all tires at 45psi, it doesn't go away. Read the manual and the only thing I can see is if it blinks for one minute, the TPMS sensor has failed. No info on the momentary blinking.

Supercharger - Las Vegas, NV - Las Vegas Blvd. South

Bank 5 seems to have issues. Won't go above 40kw. Confirmed by another owner that shortly pulled in.

CVRP Rebate for New Inventory Vehicles

Strange, went the first time. Told to e-mail tesla service. No go. Went again and spoke directly to a delivery specialist. Said the tesla service e-mails don't get to the delivery team. Ugh... Just an FYI for anyone that buys an inventory vehicle, your delivery specialist WILL have to e-mail...

CVRP Rebate for New Inventory Vehicles

Been trying to get a hold of someone at my local SC for the past week and my rebate application is set to expire tomorrow. The CVRP folks are asking that a Delivery Specialist/Tesla rep contact them and verify the VIN and purchase as new inventory vehicle purchases apparently go through a...

    OEM Looking Dashcam

To my understanding, inside the bluetooth mic array, there is an unused wire coupling that will supply always on power. The mic array housing should come off fairly easy via pulling by hand. Similar cameras can be purchased cheaper from a couple other re-sellers at AliExpress. Though their...

    Bay Area to Mammoth Lakes?

Stopped at Mammoth Lakes Supercharger and charged to 100%. From Mammoth Lakes > Devil's Postpile > Mountain View, I used 57.4kWh over 285.5 miles at 201Wh/mi. On my S75, I had about 40 miles left of usable charge at the end of the trip. No stops on the way back. Speeds were generally about +5mph...

    Bay Area to Mammoth Lakes?

Don't think they'll be ready by this weekend. Based on the Groveland SC thread, looks like the concrete base has been poured with the SC posts in place.

    Bay Area to Mammoth Lakes?

I'm thinking of doing this on an S75. Assuming a 100% charge at the Manteca supercharger, looks like it's doable with a 2hr HPWC stopover in Groveland? From what I read, going back shouldn't be a problem.

    Insurance On Model S?

100/300 coverage for $478/6mo here for a S75. Jumped ship to Ameriprise. ~25% from what I was getting from AAA.

Bought new S 75D yesterday after tesla yesterday firesale overnight -$7500

Picked up a S75 w/AP + Pano here. Was able to get the destination/doc and transport fees waived too. They're really trying to move existing inventory for sure.
