After much back and forwards I finally got Nitron to make me a paper that I hope will get my car approved with the dampers. They claim that the 3cm shorter front shocks is the same as the Elise S2 and the correct length? Which does not make sense to me, and I fear that this will add more stress...

It is impossible to get the car approved in Norway without the papers. NITRON refuses to make the papers needed and now also refuses to take back the kit. So this is a pretty horrid situation, and I am extremely disappointed by how Nitron is handling this...

The rear damper was pretty much the same length as the old. But the new front is a lot shorter. Do I just turn the shim things with the tool on the picture. Or will that mess up something else. I assume the car will be as much lower as the damper is shorter?

I just checked both front sides today, and I still don't get how it could fit on one side but not the other. It looks like both sides have the same L bracket on the bottom part that holds the damper. They are both 4,5cm wide the top 5cm and then widen out to 5cm the rest. The angle of the two...

That was my experience too, until they started failing... And the quality issues was a problem years ago when they made lights for just Lotus, so I would not be to hopeful. That said, I live in Norway and drive my car every day. So in milder climates with little use, you might not experience any...

I got the wheel bearing on the link fro Rolf today and got it installed tonight. Perfect fit! brilliant!

Thanks for that link @jnordeng! Got the correct wheel bearing installed today. Have also talked to eliseparts and they confirmed the right measurements for the drop links so they should fit too.
