Definitely a safety issue but if the accelerator gets stuck, and you even slightly press the brakes, the car will cut accelerator input and brake with a warning on screen that you pressed both pedals.

Nice, I did as well, and did so on my last 3 cars (Rivian and 2 Tesla's). Just a cleaner look IMO and also easier to clean.

Rivian does this too. I guess I wasn't shocked because of coming from Tesla. When they do have a loaner though, I do get a Rivian. If the wait will be longer than a day though, they give me a loaner through enterprise - which is not bad. They also cover one tank refill.

Yeah, splicing into the rear tail light assembly is so dangerous, it can completely destroy the batteries. :rolleyes: They seem to be having such clauses so they can get out of any warranty work. lol

I finally broke down and bought the RWD Model 3 for 2nd car. Got the inventory model with discounts for $35,090. Add in the CT order holder discount of $1k, and $7500 tax credit, that's $26,590 without including taxes/fees/etc.

I think so too. That's why I finally got one when the $35,090 price popped near by. I just don't see it coming much (if at all) lower than that. It's a great deal at that price.

So far it doesn't seem like any have been discounted lower than the $35,090 price. Has anyone seen any lower than that? I ended up purchasing at that price so I should just stop looking but I can't help myself.... I figure if it's significantly lower, I could lose the $250 and still save more...
