Good Morning, Charging speed is controlled via the charger on the car. The connector between the AC and your car is merely a conduit for the electricity. The car can only accept the max the onboard charger is able to convert.

Those look like snows which are soft to begin with. It looks like you need an alignment.

The 72 amp charger was an option on earlier X's (I have one) but it only works on the older wall connector the gen 3 wall connector only supports 48amp charging (60 amp breaker). So even if you get the higher amp charger you most likely won't be able to take advantage of it unless you are able...
