Supercharger - Panama City Beach, FL

Thanks. I just didn't see that info in the permit and was wondering if they saw anything that I didn't. I realize that most of the new chargers are at 250kW now, but I still see some with 150kW. Also, I don't think anyone on this thread has indicated either the number of stalls or power, so I...

Supercharger - Panama City Beach, FL

Looks like the permitting for the actual store and gas station have now been closed out, so I assume that the store has opened or will be opening any day now. You probably won't see any activity for the supercharger, but I hope you do.

Supercharger - Panama City Beach, FL

Yes, exactly. Sorry, I couldn't find a picture that showed it, but that is the area I had envisioned as well.

I found a couple more photos off of St. Joe's website:

Supercharger - Panama City Beach, FL

Larry, Unfortunately, I'm in St. Augustine and won't be back there for at least a couple of months, and my photo above on May 25th doesn't really show the parking. But basically if you look at the photo from the Busy Bee's twitter page...

Supercharger - Panama City Beach, FL

So, here's a question to the group. I found a sign permit for Tesla signage at this location (permit # 202001150). The status of the permit indicates that the permit has been voided. From just looking at the site when I was there during Memorial Day weekend, it seems like there won't be a...

Supercharger - Panama City Beach, FL

Thanks, mociaf9. Based on your info, I went in to check on this permit, and it looks like they have paid the permit fee. The permit looks like it has now been issued. Progressing one step at a time.

Supercharger - St. Augustine, FL (Busy Bee SR-207)

I thought it might be a little premature to put this info out there so I was hesitant in even saying anything and is the reason why I did not start a new thread on it. Hopefully, it will progress quickly and we can have another supercharger on this side of Florida but it may take some time.

New Florida Bill in the State Senate - Senate Bill 452

There's a new bill in Florida that I wanted to alert everyone to. It is Florida Senate Bill 452. The description of the bill states: Electric Vehicle Charging Stations; Requiring the Department of Transportation, in coordination with the Office of Energy within the Department of Agriculture...

    Supercharger - Celebration, FL

Since the permit shows 8 chargers and 4 electrical cabinets (which is typical for version 2 superchargers), I am going to assume that these chargers are sharing a power line and are version 2, not version 3 (version 3 doesn't share an electrical line).

    Supercharger - Gainesville, FL

The County Rd 210 site is now open with 10 stalls.

Supercharger - Jacksonville, FL - County Road

Yes, thanks. Looks like 5 cabinets so that will mean 10 chargers.

    Anyone Tint Their Windshield?

Good Tip! I will use that for the required parking stickers at work.

Supercharger - Jacksonville, FL - Gate Parkway

Looks like the electrical permit inspection went well. It passed on 8/21/18. Here is a snipet from the county's website: Not sure what else is left and not sure whether a meter is in place yet or not, but sounds like we are getting closer.

    Supercharger - Altamonte Springs, FL

I have had numerous projects working with our state and local governments in Florida. Florida requires that a Florida professional (for example, Florida engineer, surveyor, etc.) "sign and seal" such things as engineering plans or surveys as a matter of practice so that if there is an issue...

    Supercharger - Altamonte Springs, FL

I think that their website has shown it as "Coming Soon" for quite some time. [Also, another thing they need to fix is the city name].

Supercharger - Jacksonville, FL - Gate Parkway

So, my understanding is that there are 2 chargers that share 1 cabinet (i.e., Charger A and B), and I believe that each cabinet is designated in the permit under "Spec 2" and "Amps" and "Over 100." Therefore, the 4 "Receptacles" shown there amounts to 4 lines that are sharing a total of 8...

    Supercharger - Altamonte Springs, FL

So, why is this supercharger still showing up like it is active on the supercharge.info map? Shouldn't it be greyed out or something? It has been inactive for weeks now.
