That is a VERY good point. I am from Bathurst, NB and often visit if I am coming back from Montreal. That cross-province trek just got a whole lot less stressful.

How many chargers (plugs) per location on average? As more and more EV's that will be sharing these fast charging stations to support long distance travel hit the road that's the most important metric IMO.

I'm holding out hope his storey is legit otherwise it's kinda disturbing if he went out of his way to make something like that up. The back of that lot was probably used for a lot of "extended-period" parking over the years and maybe the owner is just trying to accommodate some of his long-term...

Tesla Model 3 engineering vehicles have been seen using CHAdeMo adapters even in my remote region of Atlantic Canada. Sometimes I wonder if Tesla has delayed CHAdeMo support for Model 3 simply because it wouldn't be fair to every other EV on the road currently sharing these fast charging...

I know this has been discussed but do I ever think these spots are at risk of being ICE'd A LOT. Unlike Aulac, those are prime spots close to the main building, this location is super-busy and it does not have a parking lot as large as Aulac. Hopefully the signage is clear and Irving helps...

Well that's a pleasant surprise. Now Edmundston makes a bit more sense to bridge the gap between Fredericton/Oromocto and Riviere du Loup. Some will be able to make it from Edmundston to Levis too, skipping Riviere du Loup altogether..

After a pretty exciting spring and summer of Canadian Supercharger activity it sure has been crickets for the last couple of months in terms of new construction. Guessing this is totally normal to have periods of inactivity but have their ever been this many Canadian stations in permit status...

That is a pretty wicked idea. For a small daily fee (and a healthy deposit refunded when you return it) that would make travelling across Nova Scotia a lot less stressful for Tesla owners because I think it will be a long time before there are Superchargers anywhere but the highway to Halifax.

I've always found the data on this site interesting. Granted these are funds to help support the deployment of EV charging infrastructure and not necessarily the total costs associated with setting up a charging station but if you look at the numbers it is pretty consistent at $50K per DCFC...

Woodstock gets my vote too. I'd even rather see Woodstock before Enfield, NS because along with Aulac it would pretty much allow 85's and up along with LR Model 3's to get in and out of the Maritimes on Supercharging alone. Of course we need the in-between's for smaller packs and winter driving...

I'm not a huge fan of the Young's Cove CHAdeMo stop (small restaurant with very little seating). Woodstock, Fredericton and Salisbury have better options for food. That said, if you are just going to catch some zzz's in the car all of them are great.

Once we have a Supercharger in Enfield (wherever they decide to put one in Enfield) we really need to have a get together for local owners.

I like it. 8 stalls would be future proof for this region for a many years. Man I can't wait for the questions: How long does it take to charge? Less time than it takes to eat a Big Stop clubhouse sandwich. How much does it cost? Nothing. Yeah but you had to stop and eat. So did you ;)

Not sure if they are joined like that but between the 2 of them they call the shots in the Maritimes ;) so it's no surprise they would want to get in early on the EV revolution.

Yup 8 traffic cones maybe 8 stalls. That was always the minimum I wanted to see out here.
