I have exactly the same problem with my 2018 model 3. I use auto high beams, but have to pull the stalk back towards me and hold it to keep the high beams on when my speed drops below about 25 Mph. That is usually when I am looking for a driveway or something when driving in a neighborhood...

That where zoning really comes into play. You can keep the bedroom at a different temperature than other parts of the house and do not necessarily have to keep adjusting the temperature in each zone.

Received my replacement Ver. 2 battery 10/8 and installed on 10/9. So far so good.

Not a problem charging my Model 3 with a 5kw diesel generator and I figured out my mileage with the diesel consumption of the generator to be about 25 MPG. Better than my previous ICE car!

I've noticed the Electrify America chargers at our local WalMart are pull through. The cybertruck may be equipped with a CCS connector or even better for all of us maybe Tesla will be selling a Tesla - CCS adapter by then.

If your actual supply voltage coming into the building is indeed 208, then your voltage drop is 25 volts and at 32 amps that is 800 watts being dissipated somewhere and I would certainly be concerned as that is going to produce a lot of heat somewhere particularly if it is at a connection point...

I can't imagine that the compressor would be driven by a DC motor. More likely it's a 3 phase AC motor driven by a DC to AC converter.

Good luck running a heat pump in those temperatures and recovering any heat from the outside. Not going to happen.

It's a good idea to check the amount of your uninsured motorist coverage. I found mine was only $25,000 through State Farm. I upped it to $50,000 for just a few dollars more, but you can even go higher for not much additional cost.
