I had the same problem and it was solved with the first at home OTA software update. I did NOT need anything replaced... You can also try resetting both displays. First the main, and right when that goes black reset the mini display.

I am still on 180...but...woke up this morning and walked by the car while it was locked and charging, the small dash was resetting itself and just had the "T". Maybe indication of "shadow" mode???

Map update is different. Sounds like you haven't yet received 2.50.xx yet. Hang tight, you'll get alerted in the car and on the app when you it's ready to install. Once you pick the time to do the update,the main display will show the release notes for that update.

Just did this task in 36 degree weather. 2 minutes of a hair dryer on one side of the underplate was all that was needed. All the tape came off with one pull. I actually think doing this in cold weather is better and leaves less sticky stuff on the bumper. In my case, I had none to peel off...
