An easy way to observe the lights is with summons. The lights turn on when the wheel moves. You an stand in front of the car and watch.

In this case you are 100% incorrect. My model x without PUP. Drivers door DOES close when brake pedal is pressed.

Search the forums here and YouTube for the "toothpick" modification for the dock. With an exacto knife/scalpel and a small piece of plastic or wood you can modify the lightening connector side of the cable allowing most iPhone cases to work with the dock.
