Hey - great news - stopped by on Thursday the 11th Someone from Tesla was there making sure everything was in order He said they were hoping the site would go public on Monday!

Passed by the site yesterday the 5th - still the same empty wire roles but with some snow

Yes - it is a Parkway - The best driving is between where Route 6 intersects theTaconic and Interstate 84. Driving is great in both directions - although going south from 84 is particularly fun because of the long up-hill grade after the thumb curve by Tomkins Corner.

The QuickChek has good sandwiches, coffee, etc and small seating area - if you are spending longer the Olympic Diner is a good deal. Just cross through QC - across Sawkill Road, through second Gas Station - Diner right next door. The staff is friendly and not just fast fried food - Grilled fish...
