Well, thanks for all of the information in this thread. My MS 90d, Oct 2016 build, 110,000 miles and the tailgate won't open. I'll try a couple of the tricks but will contact service center tomorrow.

We tote all five dogs with us all at the same time. Two large standard poodles and three smaller dogs. They seem very happy with it. Could never do it without the dog mode though.

I had it applied to the windows and believe it helps. But, most of the heat seams to come from my pano sunroof, where it wasn't applied. Would it be of benefit to add the clear coating there as well? or would it be redundant?

Wow... this should be supplied by every service center!
