Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

Depends on the SC. I had all UP and MPP parts on mine and they still installed it. Even had a brembo bbk on it that they took off to put on the TP. I suggest you stop by your local SC to make sure they are cool with it before ordering. I did that and everything went smooth. I have a 2021...

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

Yeah, mine came with the Good Years too. They are legal in the states but pretty useless for street. I purchased the snow tires separately, use Michelin PS4S's for summer, which were also purchased separately. I had Signature 20" before these so range didn't really change. When I went from...

Yes, the Zero-G 20” track wheels. Running Perelli Sorzetto 3 snow tires in same specs as the track tires (285/35/20 and 305/30/20). These wheels will prob become my winter wheels.

No, I wanted my height reset. Then I had the links added back when I took it in for an alignment

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

Just got the car back with the track pack brakes and wheels installed. First one at the SC and they completed in 3 days with no issues, including new knuckles for front and rear on my 2021. The SC did the work with the following aftermarket parts on the car: 1. MPP Brake Brace 2. MPP...

Plaid handling improvements: better wheels, tires, brakes, suspension options

I just had these added to the rear knuckles. Will test out over the next few days. https://unpluggedperformance.com/product/2021-tesla-model-s-model-x-6pc-bushing-upgrade-kit/ I also have the full suite of MPP front and rear arms and lower bearings. The lower bearings are pretty much a must...

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

Please enlighten us so we don’t make the same mistake, or was it installed wrong? FINALLY scheduled for my track pack install on Thursday. Original date was August 5th. I’m sure there will be more delays with the install but it is what it is. I’m currently running a Brembo GTS big brake kit...

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

One thing we know for sure is that Tesla has tested the zero G wheels to 200mph+ Not sure if we can say that about 3rd party manufacturers. Side note, I did take my first set of Signatures to 175mph last year at a half mile event with zero issues.

Will these fit the track pack calipers? Weight?

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

The “Major Cracks” stickers definitely have to be explained, but this promotional video from Tesla for the Plaid track pack has some close ups of the rotors and their cracks look way worse, so I’m guessing it’s ok.

Model S Plaid Track Package Waiting Room

That looks concerning (pic below). Would love to see pics of others who have the rotors installed to see what a normal one looks like. I’m getting mine installed soon and planning to do a half mile run a few days after the install and there is no way I would even think to try that if my...

Model S Plaid Brakes Are Terrible!

Tsport line also sells the Brembo kit, but they don’t have the GTS kit, only the GT. I think my shop got the GTS kit straight from Brembo. Here is a link for Tsport line so you can see everything that comes with it...

Model S Plaid Brakes Are Terrible!

Another option is the Brembo GTS big brake kit. I had one installed for fronts a few weeks ago and loving it. Comes with 6 piston Brembo GTS front calipers, 405mm iron discs and stainless steel lines. Was just a tad over $5k for all.

    Unplugged Performance Sway Bar Installed!

Enough of a difference where I was not happy with soft. The biggest difference the sway bar made for my style of driving is when I punch it, the rear end was much more planted and the car more controllable during the “take off”. With soft, it was still a little squirrelly, better than stock...

    Unplugged Performance Sway Bar Installed!

I first tried the stiffest for a few months, then the softest for a few months, and now have settled on the middle/medium. This is my daily so I feel the middle is the best compromise. With the stiffest setting I found the side to side jerking of the car too uncomfortably when only one side...

21” Tesla Plaid Arachnid wheels and Tires - 300 miles only on both

For sale are a set of 21” Tires and Wheels (no Tpms sensors) for a Tesla Plaid. Tires and Wheels are prefect with no nicks or blemishes. Only had 300 miles on tires and wheels before getting 20” Signature wheels. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. Not looking to sell the tires and wheels...

Signature sv103 20x10 (285/35) and 20x11 (305/35) on a Plaid N2utive links put on last week (-5 front, -6 rear) - no difference in howl

Yes, but only around 50-60mph. It’s annoying and I won’t be buying these again. Next set will definitely have the foam for noise suppression like stock

I wanted the extra cushion and sidewalk for our famous Chicago pot holes. 21” have 30 series rubber on the back, which would have made no difference going down to 20” wheels if I went with 30.

    Unplugged Performance Sway Bar Installed!

Nice. I was waiting for the MPP to post pics of their rear wing, which they did this weekend on Insta, but it’s a bit too extreme for what I’m looking for since I most likely will not be tracking the car. The shape/style of wing I really like is this one that RPM makes for the Model 3. I’m...
