Faisabilité de l'échange du feu de recul arrière et des feux de brouillard arrière

I'm crossing my fingers. My car passed it's CT and my documents are in with ANTS through a consultant. There's been rumours in the last 2 weeks though that ANTS are requesting UK imports to go through a full DREAL inspection, which would be a nightmare and definitely need me to switch the fog...

Faisabilité de l'échange du feu de recul arrière et des feux de brouillard arrière

I don’t think we’ve had a DM conversation? Unfortunately since Brexit, all U.K. paperwork and even cars that were perfectly ok to register in France, overnight became invalid. Obviously cars already registered are ok but new registrations are going under more scrutiny.

What's the easiest way to change the side of the fog light?

My initial thought was these but they don't have `fog brightness` and after doing more research any lights I use must have the E (Europe) mark on them. So official Tesla lights are the only way to go I think. Or attach a crappy after market fog light to the bumper, which would look horrendous.

What's the easiest way to change the side of the fog light?

Thanks. I'll take the trim off and have a look.

What's the easiest way to change the side of the fog light?

But will the car know the lights have changed or will it need reprogramming so it knows which light is used for which?

What's the easiest way to change the side of the fog light?

I'm not visiting, I've moved to France and importing my car to French plates. Yes I do need to sort the fog light issue as the French government will not issue a French registration until it complies.
  7. D

What's the easiest way to change the side of the fog light?

Unfortunately you are wrong. The legal requirement in France is that a single fog light must be in the centre or to the Left. Whereas in the UK it's the opposite. It's very common amongst the expat community that fog lights need changing on an imported car or the government department issuing...

What's the easiest way to change the side of the fog light?

My UK Model S (2017) is going for it's first CT test in France next week, and I'm fearing the worst over the fog light being on the wrong side. What options do I have to correct this? If I bought 2 new light clusters from an EU Model S, would they simply work? I've seen a few aftermarket rear...

Did you ever get a solution to this? My UK Model S goes for it's CT next week and I'm expecting the worst.

    Beware SMETS2 meters

No sorry, I don’t think they supply manuals for the meters. I haven’t even touched mine since being installed.

    Beware SMETS2 meters

My Kaifa hasn't connected to the IHD, however Octopus are receiving the readings (After an initial 2 weeks).

    Beware SMETS2 meters

If anyone else has the IHD6 from Octopus, can you confirm that the arrow in this image means it is measuring as export? Or does the arrow always point that way?
  13. D

    Beware SMETS2 meters

Octopus installed my Landis & Gyr E470 2 days ago!! I have 2x powerwalls. To be fair to Octopus, the installer said it was all over my account to make sure the meter was ok with Powerwalls and the installer said he’d confirmed with his boss about the meter he was installing. Maybe Octopus...

    Measuring 0-60 Performance on iPhone?

I want to correct some information in this thread. Not all apps use the GPS in the phone to measure the 0-60 which is obviously not accurate enough. Teslemetry uses the Tesla data API which updates data at a much higher rate. The cars GPS also operates at 1Hz, but by monitoring the actual speedo...

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

I'm thinking it might not appear on the amp as it's not 24/7. Could mess with routing a long distance journey.

Straight from Tesla.com SC opening times only (Although it also says 24/7 lol)

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

That always happens. I think the update notes might get pulled from online, so you have to wait for them to appear. Usually after a minute they appear.

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

Just updated to 2019.32.1 and the browser is working again :)

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

My browsers the same now. AP2.5 CPU1. I used to know all the tricks to get it to reload/refresh but there’s definitely a new bug been introduced lately as it’s damn near impossible to get it to load anything. Reboots don’t help.

    Model S REST API

Yes I think I’m using the newer /streaming socket, however it doesn’t work on any cars manufactured in/after 2018
  23. D

    Model S REST API

I’ll check again next time I’m out in the car. I used my iOS app Teslemetry and it connects fine. As car wasn’t moving the data doesn’t come very quick.

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

Thanks, I didn't notice that option before. Is it not better that you pull the speed cameras from waze the same way you do with the police data?
  27. D

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

How? When it pops up with the speed camera alert, pressing it dismisses it.
  28. D

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

You mean the Waze app? That’s the thing, there’s cameras that are no longer showing in the Waze app but are showing on Tesla Waze.
  29. D

TeslaWaze updates (was: TeslaWaze is Done!)

@ericwol thank you for your efforts with Tesla waze. I’ve just started using it and noticed a lot of the speed camera locations are wrong (I’m in the U.K.). Are you caching the speed camera locations? I compared with the waze app and Tesla waze alerted to speed cameras when waze didn’t show any.

    Model S REST API

Yes, I noticed it too with Models S and X. Seems to be all 2018 models and possibly late 2017.
  31. D

    Model S REST API

Unfortunately not. This is a holy grail I have been waiting for (And tweeting Elon). If the API allowed us to set the charge rate, I could utilise much more of my solar export by keeping the charge rate the same as solar excess.

Tesla Owner API Tutorial (All you need is your browser)

You need to add a User-Agent header.
  33. D

Does anyone know what the rate limit is? If you hit an endpoint every second for a few minutes are you likely to get temp blocked?

    PowerTools network issues

There's no reason it wouldn't work. If you want to send me your email address i'll add you to my Teslemetry beta test group so you can try out my app and see if it works for you?
  35. D

    PowerTools network issues

@David.85D & @VNG256 do you both have Model 3 or 2018 built cars? Tesla have removed the data streaming API from all Model 3’s and any new builds from 2018. Even my newer Teslemetry app cannot connect to these. I’m hoping V9 will bring something back.
  36. D

    Power Tools for Tesla-Not Working

Yes. I've added it to the headline of my app so people don't pay for something they can't use.
  37. D

    Power Tools for Tesla-Not Working

Ah, it seems all 2018 vehicles no longer have access to the data streaming API. I have a similar app called Teslemetry and I’ve been trying to get this working with a few owners but it’s not looking likely at all. I’m hoping v9 might bring something useable.
  38. D

    Power Tools for Tesla-Not Working

    What car/year do you have?
  39. D

    Model S REST API

That’s sounds more like an SDK error. I don’t think that error is coming from Tesla API. What are you writing the app in?
  40. D

    Model S REST API

    Try adding a Use-Agent header
  41. D

    Model S REST API

It’s the same for any 2018 S and X, which I find quite bizarre. You’d think the software would be the same on them all.
  42. D

    Model S REST API

Yes I saw that, but I didn't see any code in the app that tells it whether to use one or the other depending on car age. Or does it just use the 5s update for all vehicles now?
  43. D

    Model S REST API

Might be a long shot, but has anyone tried replicating the apps headers on the requests? (My car isn’t new enough to test, as streaming works fine).
  44. D

    Model S REST API

The streaming endpoints aren’t working with Model 3 or new S & X models, but everything else is the same.
  45. D

    Model S REST API

Your request looks fine, the same as what I am sending. New cars seem to return the Disconnected error, i've had this confirmed by a few owners of newer Model S, X and 3, however my 2017 Model S connects and works fine.
  46. D

    Model S REST API

I can confirm another Model 3 that returns the same result and also a Model S that doesn't work with the old streaming endpoint is also receiving the vehicle_disconnected message! Surely these would still have the location working in the Android app which uses this data stream, so there must be...
  47. D

    Model S REST API

Yes you send the pin to the clear pin endpoint. Valet mode doesn't need this which seems odd. I haven't tried to clear the pin in the car, but you can set the pin in the car if it's not already been set in the app. I'm sure I saw a prompt or link to reset the pin using my Tesla login details...
  48. D

    Model S REST API

You are right, you set the speed first only while it’s not active. Pin is required with all 3 of the other requests. When you enable the speed limit mode, the app asks for your pin. If one is already set, it must match. If one isn’t set, any will do. Disabling requires the pin. Clearing is only...
