Earliest Estimate for Owners wanting SR?

Not that I am one. But I am a first-day online non-owner with an estimate of "Late 2018" for a SR. Do any owners have earlier estimates for a SR car? What's the earliest out there for now?

Model 3 standard range postponed until Early 2019

First day online non-owner here. I've watched my Estimate for the SR M3 I put down my deposit for move from Jan-Mar to Early 2018 to Late 2018. Being in Los Angeles I was counting on the Fed 7,500 PLUS the CA 2,500. I don't need a LR version, and certainly not for an additional 14 thousand! I...

Non-owner First Production window just got pushed back

I'm in the same boat, about the same time and Selection. So... What do you think "Early" 2018 means? I''m pretty sure it's not January. ::smirk:: I would think it means Jan - Mar. Much after that and we're into "Mid-2018" territory, no?

    Configerator configuering...

Yes, when I log in it states "Early 2018" but I guess the nuance of that compared to "Jan-Mar 2018" for the First Production long range with upgrade escapes me. It's still a waiting/guessing game at this point. Mo

    Configerator configuering...

I'm a non-Tesla owner in Los Angeles, wanting the base model. I ordered a Model 3 online the evening of the announcement, and my RN# states March 31. My confirmation email from Tesla arrived April 1, 9:59PM. Which do I use to get a better handle on when I'll be invited to configure? Or, is it...

Why I sold my 1-month old Tesla Model S.

I'm on the reservation list for a Model 3, and I appreciate the original post. In 2007 I purchased a Mini Cooper S and it went through three clutches in the first year, in addition to smaller issues. I enjoyed the car, but I did not enjoy spending so much time at the dealership dealing with...

    Tax Credit Clarification

I think I understand. Line 47 showed $8,634 (Total Tax). Line 74 showed $9,213 (Total Payments). It should be very similar each year in the next few years.

    Tax Credit Clarification

The mandated 20% Fed withholding was more than $7500. last year, so I should be set for a nice refund. Thanks much for the clarification.

    Tax Credit Clarification

I'm a retired teacher on the list for a Model 3. My Calif. pension requires that 20% of my pension income is withheld for Fed. tax, which will make it difficult to be "owing" the $7,500. tax credit. Am I understanding this correctly? Is there some other way to "move money around" to make it...
