    So, if I do not get the software update which Tesla wants to charge me $1500 - can I not just set my charging to 100% - it is now set at the default which I think is 90% ?

    I received my Model S 60D in September 2016. I understand the Battery software update for Model S 60D will make it like a 75D - is that correct? If this is correct, does that mean a 75D battery was installed at manufacture even though I only payed for a 60D?
