No, Tesla is heading in the correct path. It’s much more than just cost control (although that is a big reason). Just because you can offer more choices doesn’t mean you should. It’s thoughtful reduction. I like Tesla following the laws of simplicity. Not suprising, very Apple-esque.

NOA has been very underwhelming. Was really excited to finally try it. Do you have NOA with 42.4? I noticed a good amount on Tesla Fi Firmware Tracker going from 42.3 to 42.4. I figured something is wrong with 42.3 because I don't have NOA and others don't either (I also tried driving for a while to no avail).

Is it normal not to get NOA release notes? I got 42.3 but only release notes was being able to use apps above media player.

First time using the push update feature in the Tesla app and I’m so happy about it. Really awesome feature.

Wish i could! :) But I don’t have a solar roof on order. So if I actually did, they would be giving me a call once installation would be ready in Illinois as an example.

I’m expecting by Veteran’s Day at the latest. In the blog post it was mentioned that since 9.0 was released and up until the point of this latest release, more than 10 million miles had been driven to validate this first release of NOA. That time period was about 3 weeks.

The only 2.5 feature is dashcam. Smart Summon will work on 2.0 and 2.5 cars.

For the most part he has finally been consistent since this summer with his tweets. Instead of 6 weeks though, I say more like 12 weeks. But I do believe it actually coming very soon and not 12 months from now.

If someone said “by next year”. I see that as on or before the end of the current year. So on or before December 31st.

Does Summon feel..."smarter"? Or does it feel the same as before 9.0? I know obviously we have yet to get Smart Summon. But I would imagine maybe current Summon would be much improved in 9.0

Go to the lootbox and at the top where the progress bar is there is a “learn more” button to tap. Scroll down to FAQS and you’ll find a question that explains when to expect to be able to choose a reward. It used to say “15 days after person takes delivery”. That 15 day statement is gone.

Give Customer Suppory a phone call. I did in the past and it sort of worked to fix the problem.

Well it seems that is has changed and you should be able to choose an award as soon as the person takes delivery of their car now.

It was already made clear by Tesla/Elon that Nav by AP would not be a part of the initial release. Hopefully in a couple of weeks or so in another update.

They said in a couple of weeks. They are pushing update to US and Canada first.

If your car was manufactured After August 2017. You have 2.5. Not sure when the exact cutoff is in August but that is when it was introduced.

Not sure why someone disagreed with you. But it is true. Dashcam at the moment will only work on 2.5 cars.

I did the same thing and was told the same as well. It’s technically possible to do so. It’s a metter if Tesla would actually do it or not.

On the app it says 15 days before you get an email/loot box is updated. Check again in a day or two. I’m curious to see if it really is 15 days.
