    2024 Shipping Movements

I see the Cherry Red for Model Y in Uk website for June delivery. Surely that is from Berlin as Shanghai are doing the Ultra Red?

How is my LFP battery holding up after 2 years?

I think you should all try the Tesla Battery Health test under service menu. 😉 My 2019 Model 3 Performance shows 279 miles at 100% . Originally 299 miles. So a 7% loss. However I did the Tesla Battery Health test which drains to zero and charges to 100% over 24 Hours. That says my Battery health...

How to reset your Tesla to fix issues

I thought a hard reset was press brake pedal and hold the two scroll wheels down.

    When to retire?

I retired at 55 when I couldn't put any more money into a Pension (Lifetime Allowance Limits) and I realised my Pension was more than I was earning working. And work was 3 hours commute every day, 8 hours in the office, plus unpaid evenings and weekends. Just have to keep yourself busy...

First significant problem with LR AWD after 2 years and 28k miles

Rodent damage. I hit a Pheasant that jumped out of the hedgerow and got stage fright. Required front bumper repair. And ran over a fresh kill fox - side of car looked liked someone had thrown a litre of red paint over the passenger side doors.

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

Version numbering is strange - I have 2020.44.10.1 - but none of this FSD Beta. I think it just got the Traffic Light warning stuff - use Accelerator or Stalk to continue messages. We are so far behind the USA. Restricted Autosteer to boot.

Engineering Explained- wheel size effects on electric cars

Well I bought the Performance Version. So I have stop more frequently on long trips. But it stands out more and is more fun. Extra cost for the extra electricity is peanuts - what 5% more? I could have gone for performance without the bits, but hell the performance bits weren't that more...

My Experience With EAP Suggests Not Only Won't FSD Go Up In Price, It's Going To Go Down

I'm thinking of upgrading to Enhanced Autopilot for motorway driving. Because its a pain to constantly turn autopilot back on after changing lanes. I can't see FSD working on London streets as simple cruise control constantly beeps and brakes for bollards and parked cars even though there's...

Tesla findus on Android phone Scroll, Pinch and Zoom not working

On the Tesla Findus page the scroll, pinch and zoom function has stopped working for me. If I switch to the desktop site it works. Anybody know how to fix?

Charging to 100% at home vs Supercharging

I used the Supercharger for the first 6000 miles in my Model 3 P because they were free and time limited. When that ran out I wired up external sockets 240v which gives me 2-2.3 kw charging 8=9 miles an hour. Went on day trip today 89% down to 21% almost 24 hours to get back to 90%. No problem...

    2020.20.5 has improvements to GPS

GPS Update. I wonder if my car will stop slamming on breaks because it thinks I'm 30mph slip road rather than the 50mph main road.

New Model 3 Performance only getting 294 miles on full 100% charge

I forgot to mention I think sentry mode and warming up for superchargers contributes to my low efficiency along with lots of 60-70mph motorway driving. Sentry mode because a lot of street and car parks parking for me. Sentry mode uses 4 times more energy than without. Like 24 miles a day vs 6...

New Model 3 Performance only getting 294 miles on full 100% charge

Well my Model 3 P shows 268 miles at 91% state of charge. I sometimes charge to 95 % knowing it will drop to 90% by time I get home. Anyway 268/0.91 = 294 miles range at 100%. I thought that was low. But then my efficiency is around 70% anyway. So max range would be 70% of 294. Less than 207...

    Supercharging 34kw at 60% to 90% in Model 3 LR P, 8 degrees c

I found I've been Supercharging on way home when its late a night 12pm. I start about 50-60% finish when its 85-93% Its Model 3 LR P, 4,500 miles, I've mostly used my free supercharging, and a little on the fast chargers at the gym. Is 34kw normal, Am i being throttled because I mostly use...
