Has anybody tried revisiting whether or not this can really be done? I realize from what I have read they are not as bright as the old xenon units, but I love the look from a cosmetic standpoint (especially the daytime driving lights). Is the software really a hard stop from this getting done...

I would have to see a mock up of it. As long as it doesn't clash with the lines of the car I think it could work.. keep us posted!

Yes he replaced the hood as well but also had to modify it to work.

If I can help in any way let me know. We just need to get the T-piece to fit with the curved dimensions of the pre-facelift hood correct? Artsci probably has more insight being that he did the install already. My parts are just sitting in the garage right now..

Yes but $3K for a urethane bumper is really price gouging. I have compete body kits on all my prior BMW and Audi is this is double that for just the bumper. The prices are elevated because they are the only show in town. I think some simple 3D-printed pieces and a body body shop and the stock...

I already bought the refresh bumper and I am planning on doing the same update. Please let me know if you 3D print a custom T-piece as I would love to get in on it (and I'm sure a bunch of other members would too)
