My MCU2 X wouldn't reboot with the scroll wheels, so I called Tesla. They remotely reset my "gateway" and since then, the mcu reboots normally with the scroll wheels. As an added bonus, the wifi now works as well. I am on 2018.12

Update:. Called Tesla today. They remotely restarted my gateway and I am now able to connect to WiFi, and the 2 scroll wheel reboot works just like it should.

Hopefully it fixes the wifi/reboot issues for new MCU.

This didn't work for me at all. Systems don't really seem to power down. Screens go off, but don't come back on with brake. They come right back on if I shift my weight or open a door. Scroll wheels don't do anything to reboot.

Uggg. Probably just going to wait for next update, that will reboot it. Mine came with 2018.12

How did you Force a reboot?

Exactly the same for me. I also can't connect to my wifi, and had no issues connecting with my buddies older S.

Hey guys. My X has the new MCU, and my car doesn't seem to ever sleep. I use Teslafi, but notice that the new MCU doesn't have the power saving menu items that the older cars have. Anyone else experiencing this? Any tips?

Maybe try using your blinker when you change Lanes, this will stop the lane departure from vibrating your wheel.

Just got confirmation that my X, which went into production 3/2, and will be delivered Saturday had the new MCU!
