Are you sure this is not due to lane assistance warning feature? There's a vibration feedback in yoke if you go towards the side of your lane when this feature is turned on.

Love the matte finish spoiler. Mine is the glossy finish though. I actually wanted the matte one but somehow I messed up my order. Didn't bother to change it after the order went through. Maybe I should have, but glossy will probably match my recently ceramic coated shiny exterior. 😁

The PPF guy told me that the paint job on my car is one of the better ones he has seen in Tesla. I drove it for 120 miles for 10 days before PPF appointment and was worried about getting some rock chips. But he said there's no paint correction needed and the paint job looks good. Lucky me I guess...

I got my PPF done in 3 days in bay area. They initially said 4-5 days and I was feeling sad about it. Surprisingly they got it ready in 3 days.

All new LR builds are 2.0. And I don't think there are any old LRs left in the inventory. You should not feel nervous to remove your hold.

It's a bit weird that they require appointments since at least in the Fremont factory, you drop by, give your check if not already paid, accept delivery on app, get the keys and get your car. I didn't have anyone help me get into the car.

If your car is already in the factory and has completed inspection, and you have your payment ready, they should have no issues delivering it. I'd be in that group, considering that I also had a refresh 1.0 LR with panel gaps in a few places. Didn't have any other issues with it in my 3 months of ownership. The refresh 2.0 looks pristine compared to 1.0 and have had zero issues with it so far.

Not sure about your state, but in California, all you need is an insurance with your name, even if it's registered to a different car. The law specifically covers new cars under existing insurance for 30 days I think.

DMV website asks for the plate number you wish to have, when you choose the black design. You can probably enter your existing number and get it. Edit: And they cost $50 per year AFAIK

I believe you need to first get the standard license plates. You can apply for the custom ones after that using the DMV website where they ask for your license plate number and VIN. Source: I'm trying to get a custom plate and was exploring DMV website 😄

Picked up mine from the factory this evening. I'm not a stickler for perfection, so it looks flawless to me. Much better in terms of panel gaps compared to my refresh 1.0 LR (sold last month)

Yeah, as long as you are a DCU member (which is easy to become), you can get a loan. I'm not sure what credit score they look for an approval, but I do have excellent credit 😄

Not sure how quickly you can refinance but I know that there's a time period of 30 - 45 days during which you can get your credit checked few times without affecting your score much. I'll try refinancing within a month and see how it goes.

Yeah, with DCU the refinance rates seem to be the same as direct loan rates, which is surprising.
