My '21 SR+ now shows about 248m of range of the original 263 so about 5-6% degradation after 3 years. That's no more than I expected. And it is still more range than the pee stop range.

There is a setting "Remain connected in drive" or some such wording. It is on the screen where you enter the password for the hotspot. With this once you are connected you stay connected. It mostly just works.

Mine is an SR+ RWD. The system is stripped down to bare minimum so no extra amp.

I also put the filters to my nose and couldn't smell anything. I had lots of tiny little leaves though that come from the tree in front of my house. Those leaves go everywhere and they are a pain to rake too.

I have the Focal tweeters from the ISU 200. Are those the tweeters being used? I don't have them installed, but I think the original Tesla tweeters are in there without wire. Is this something I should do, and where would I tap into the wiring? I could possibly do this at zero cost.

Thanks, but that's all much more heavy duty than the artillery fungus. The main problem with those little black dots is the residue behind them. You don't want to get out the big guns just to take those dots off. White vinegar does the trick, then just hose it down and dry.

I just tried something that worked on my daughter's car, vinegar. Just plain white vinegar softens it enough to scrub it away with a microfiber towel. Let it soak for a few seconds. Wash it away with water and dry.

Cool. Sometimes the fixes are easy.

If you find that it isn't really the seat back, there is also an issue with the trunk hood struts that is an easy adjustment to fix. It makes a clunking sound. I had to bring mine in to a collision shop for another reason and they mentioned it and it was fixed when I got the car back.

Did you try detailing clay? I wouldn't use sandpaper.

I did a little research and found that this is a fungus from wood mulch! And I have wood mulch in my garden right next to the car. Apparently I should use a clay bar to remove it. I had no idea there were so many cleaners out there with specific uses. I believe the local Autozone had them.
