    "grandfathered in" free supercharging?

Thanks for the replies. Are there any DIS-advantages of registering the car with Tesla? or NOT registering it with Tesla? Everything seems to be working normally and as far as I know the car is still registered with Tesla by its original owner.

Cheapest way to get updated Fascia for older Model S?

also.. Rockwell and Dsancho.. it is my understanding that the Gen 2 Model S facelift bumper parts are not a direct bolt-on swap for a Gen 1 Model S.

Cheapest way to get updated Fascia for older Model S?

Tsportline also sells a Gen 1 Model S nose cone "alternative" for $400, which breaks up the "oval" of the OEM nosecone. It is all black with chrome strips. Or, google nose cone wraps and you will see several done in vinyl wrap (or painted) to match the body color. I think it works better...

    "grandfathered in" free supercharging?

I read a previous post that "A pack" S 85 cars would be grandfathered in for free supercharging. What is an "a battery pack"? Are there other S 85 cars that are not grandfathered in? I just bought a 2013 S P85. It have not yet registered it in my name and will be the second owner. So far...

Wall Connector 3rd Generation 18' on Backorder

I was ordering a Gen 3 but it was out of stock. Ordered a Gen 2 (for my 2013 S) about 3 weeks ago, as the electrician was coming imminently. ( it does have a 24' cord- which I don't really need). Then a few days later the Gen 3 was back in stock. Seems to be very hit or miss.

WTB: '13-16 Model S, Silver Turbines, Grey or White interior

Bump. I would consider a car with black/gray turbine wheels as I have found someone who can powder-coat them silver for less than $700. As for the grey or white interior- that is a must-have. But purely an aesthetic choice. :)

How to identify Supercharging capability in Model S?

I was originally inquiring about the Supercharging option- which was truly an extra-cost "upgrade"/option on some of the early 60 cars. Thanks for clearing that up! I intend to buy only a 70 or higher model, so this will not be an issue for me. As for the unlimited Free Unlimited Super...

How to identify Supercharging capability in Model S?

I am looking to buy a 2013-2016 Model S. How can I tell if the car I am buying (probably online) has the SuperCharger feature? Most dealers/sellers don't mention it one way or the other. Is there a way to track this thru the VIN? (and get a list of all other options with a VIN?) Or do I...

WTB: '13-16 Model S, Silver Turbines, Grey or White interior

Looking to buy a 2013-2016 Model S with 21" silver turbine wheels. Must have Grey or White interior. Exterior color not as important as I intend to wrap the car. Prefer less than 75k miles and an East coast car. I'm in N. Carolina. Cash buyer.

    Headliner dye?

So... I'm a big fan, at least in theory, of the lighter-colored headliners. (I'm a prospective Model S buyer - looking for grey or white interior -only). Do you feel the whole interior is darker now? or do you not notice it? Thanks for this thread, I will make sure any on-line seller sends...

    Wanted Wall Charger Gen II

Mrwd- Are you saying that if one purchased a USED Tesla Wall charger, the warranty would be voided? How does Tesla track all of the chargers that an owner uses? What if I use a 110v extension cord while visiting my sister, for instance? Tesla newbie here, so sorry if this is a dumb...

    Hello from Winston-Salem, NC

Looking to buy a used Model S in the next few months. I am a "car guy" and have been a big Tesla fan for a while now. Mostly I like sports cars but it's time for a fun (and beautiful) family-mobile. Learning more about these cars and looking forward to owning one soon.
