NEMA 14-50 Plug Meltdown / Near Fire

I have the first GEN Tesla charger, when I had it professionally wired in, they put in a 60 amp breaker. Is that a good one to have, or should I reduce it?

    2013 S 60 $43,000

A car buying service ended paying 42,000 for it. The reason why sold it was I was getting a bit nervous about owning a Tesla out of warranty. I ended up buying a 2018 Prius prime advance. It’s not tesla but I have peace of mind as well as 134 MPG(e). I can still go 30 miles per electric...

    2013 S 60 $43,000

Good eye. When I bought the car from the original owner I made a comment on it. He thought that the “60” alone looked too plain, so he embellished it. He admitted that it was a vanity move. I guess it was better than if he put a giant hood scoop on the front of the car though…

    2013 S 60 $43,000

I took these pictures this morning. On the invoice I swapped the 21”s for 19’s, and I never saw the dual charger when purchased, but does have mobile charger with 240v and 115 adapters. OK. 40k and you pay for shipping to Connecticut. You will be happy with this Tesla.

    2013 S 60 $43,000

Yet you feel more comfortable buying my car “from across the country” without physically seeing/driving first? If I was “hiding” something, it would make more sense to sell to someone far away, because recourse would be a lot more difficult for the buyer. If you want to buy the car, ( trust...

    2013 S 60 $43,000

Yes. Why would I hide something? Every car that I have sold in my life, the first person to see it has bought it. I have kept my cars in meticulous condition. Mechanically. This Tesla had a thorough inspection and 50,000 service 2 weeks ago. No reported issues. 210 miles full charge at...

    2013 S 60 $43,000

Yes they were stock wheels, and they’re made by one guy in Jupiter Florida. I only know I’ve only three other Tesla owners that have these. The guys at the Tesla service center in Portland circled the car and thought they look great.

    2013 S 60 $43,000

For sale is a perfect condition Tesla model S 60. It just had it’s 50,000 mile service and everything is in perfect working order. The car looks and drives a brand new without any squeaks leaks or any issues at all. It’s a must see. It has hard to find machined OEM wheels with brand new Nokian...

Tesla’s Roadster Prototype Seen Broken Down in Malibu

When one spends $250,000 on a car it does not “break down”, what it does is that it “fails to proceed“

Ouch! MS 90D repair saga begins...

Thanks for the fast and honest reply. I have the pre-refresh front end too and I think it looks good. However some people actually pay up to $2000 to upgrade the front end.

Is it too late not to get the 2016+ refresh bumper put on?

    12v battery

I don’t know if this issue has been posted before, but with the advanced technology of Tesla why does the cars still have a 12 V battery? It seems a bit pendantic to have a charging system adjunct that dates back to the 1960s… Is there anyway that Tesla could engineer a converter to replace...

HWPC FOR SALE $300 Plus Shipping

Up for sale is a tesla wall charger. I ended up putting a 14-50 wall charger instead of this. I had a certified electrician install it in my garage and it tested fine on start up in the Test Mode The HWPC also worked fine from 70 A up, but did not connect from 60 and down. The certified...

    NEMA 14-30 Adapter

Thanks for the great advice, I purchased a 14-30 charger adapter from Tesla. What I’ve learned is that this charger will charge about 17 mph, when I get my tesla wall charger installed how many miles per hour will that do it’s 80 KW.

Model S Technical / Mechanical Issues

Newbie with a charging question here. Into weeks I am having a professional electrician install my tesla wall charger. In the meantime I’ve been using the excruciatingly slow 115 V outlet to charge my car. Today I received the 220 adapter as pictured, so that I could be able to Charge my...

Homelink auto close reliable for you?

Anyone have this problem related to the home link? I have a Lexus with the home link and it’s never had a problem opening and closing it through the rearview mirror. This week when I programmed my new S 60, the Tesla home link worked flawlessly opening it up and closing it up automatically...

Woo Hoo! New Tesla member here very happy to be part of the Tesla motor club group.

Thanks. Picked it up yesterday. The blessing comes from Father Time and depreciation. Original owner, Tech package, 41,000 miles, no accidents, car looks brand new. Owner even tossed in the 80kw Tesla garage charge port. $39,000. Why would anyone buy anything else?
